Ella's POV.

During lunch Ella went to Jitters to see Iris. She came in a found Barry and Iris at a table with two other people. She walked up to Barry. "Hey guys." Barry turned around and smiled. "Hey Ella. I want you to meet some good friends of mine. Oliver, Felicity. This is Ella." Ella smiled and shook both their hands. "It's nice to meet you Ella." The man named Oliver said. Wait. "Oliver Queen?" She asked. He smiled sheepishly. "Guilty." "It's great to meet you Mr. Queen." "Thank you it's nice to meet a friend of Barry's."

Iris and Ella took Barry's arm. "Can we talk to you?" "Sure?" "Excuse us." Iris said to Oliver and Felicity. The three walked over to a corner. Iris hit Barry on the arm. "Wha-Owe." "You did not tell me you knew Oliver Queen!" "I know Oliver Queen." He said blankly. "Oh my word he's even more handsome in person." Ella said. Barry rolled his eyes. "His arms are like twice the size of yours!" Iris mused. "Technically not twice the size." Barry argued. Ella wasn't sure if Iris should have said that. Ella could tell how jealous Barry was.

"He's on my three list." "What list?" Barry asked. "Yeah. What list?" "My list of guys I can cheat on Eddie with. You usually don't meet the people on your list, but now he's here and....I can not stop staring at him." Iris said in a daze. Barry rolled his eyes. Ella laughed. "Look I've got to go. I'll see you guys later." "Okay, bye." They both said. Then Ella left.

The next day.

Ella came home to her apartment after work and decided to go see Iris and Barry. On her way there the Flash ran past her and pulled someone out of a car. She gasped. She took a closer look and saw a woman getting out of the car. It was Iris. She was talking to the flash. He was yelling at the man on the ground who looked like Eddie. "Iris!" Ella yelled. She turned and saw Ella, but turned back trying to get the Flash to stop attacking Eddie. What was happening.

"What's wrong with you?" Iris yelled. "I'm fine." The Flash said angrily. "You are not fine." She shouted. "How would you know? Because you write about me? You don't know me! You never did!" He yelled. The Flash would never do this. She had to do something.

Ella ran up to the flash and stood in front of him. "Flash! Stop!" She shouted. Iris looked at Ella. "Ella no!" She shouted. The Flash turned away from Iris and looked at Ella. She walked closer. "What has happened to you?" "Nothing. I'm fine. Now go home Ella. This doesn't involve you." He said angrily turning back to Eddie, ready to attack. "I am not leaving. This isn't you!" "How would you know who I am!? You just moved here! You don't know me anymore!" He screamed. She felt tears coming to her eyes. "What? Anymore...Flash-" "Go home!" He yelled.

"No. You have risked your life to save people and make this city better! Someone who does all that does not suddenly turn around and want to hurt people!" She yelled. This wasn't right something was really wrong. "Ella, please. Go home." The Flash begged angrily. "Eddie Run!" Iris yelled.

Eddie got up and ran off. The Flash ran after him. Suddenly a man in green stopped the Flash from hurting Eddie. Iris went over to Eddie and ran back over to Ella. "We need to go. Now." Iris said. "I can't leave him." She said. "He's a monster now. We need to leave." Iris said. Ella watched as The Arrow and Flash fought. "Iris we need to leave." Eddie said. "Ella please." Iris begged. Ella nodded. "Let's go."

That night the police put a warrant out for the Flash's arrest. Ella sat in her apartment. She couldn't believe that the Flash had become evil. Just then she saw a flash of lightning outside on her balcony. The Flash. She looked to see him standing outside. She walked to the door and watched to see if he looked calm.

She opened the door and walked out. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "I'm here to apologize. What I did earlier today and what I said...it wasn't me. A meta messed with my mind. I didn't have control." He explained. She knew something was off. "Please. Forgive me." "You need to be apologizing to Iris West." "I know. I already did. She...is still upset. She thinks I'm a monster." He said. He seemed almost heartbroken.

He walked over to the railing and looked out on the City. Ella put her arms around her. It was chilly even with her sweater on. She spoke softly to him. "I'm sorry." He scoffed. She could hear the hurt in his vibrating voice. "It's not your fault. I made an awful mistake and now...everyone thinks I'm a monster. Even you." He said.

Ella walked up to him and put her hand on his arm. "Your not a monster." He turned his head to look at her. "And like you said...you didn't have control. It may take time, but the city will finally come around." "You think so?" "How can they not? You give the city something it needs." He gave her a look as if asking a question. "Hope. Your our guardian angel. We need you."

He stared at her for quite sometime. Then he put his hand on her hand that was setting on his arm. He looked down at it and turned to face her, taking her hand in his. "You know, your a very special girl, Ella. I honestly haven't really noticed how special... until tonight. Somehow you seem to know exactly what to say. When I came here I felt like the world was against me, but after talking to you...I don't feel so alone anymore. Thank you."  He said.

He took her hand and gently placed a kiss on the back of her knuckles. She felt electricity shoot through her hand. She gasped quietly. She looked up at him to find that he was already looking at her. His eyes were full of something she couldn't describe. Just then she realized he had stopped vibrating his face. A shadow cast over his face, so all she could se were his eyes. They were a beautiful hazel color. "Ella?" "Yes?" She asked still in a daze. She realized they're faces had gotten closer. "I-"

Suddenly The Flash jerked his hand up to his ear. He stood straight up and looked back at Ella. His face was vibrating again. "I'm afraid I have to go. Thank you again Ella." She smiled. "Your welcome." "I'll uh...see you...sometime." He said. He was acting reluctant to leave her. "Yeah, sometime." She said with a smile on her lips. "Bye." He said. "Bye."

Then reluctantly, he ran off. She ran to her the edge of her balcony to see a yellow streak of lighting race through the city away from her apartment. "Goodnight Flash." She whispered.
