Ella's POV.

Ella had packed up everything and was ready to leave for Central. Ella picked up her cellphone and dialed Barry's number. "Ella! Hey!" He said. She could here that he was smiling. "Hey, Barry. Umm. . . I'm all packed and ready to go back to-" Suddenly she heard a whoosh sound through the phone. She looked at it in confusion.

A second later she heard the same sound outside. Ella looked out the window and saw Barry on the porch. Ella rolled her eyes and smiled. She opened the door. "Ready?" He asked immediately. Ella breathed a laugh. "That was fast." She commented. Barry chuckled. "Yeah."

Ella shifted uncomfortably. "Well, my bags are in there and I already sent the rest of my luggage to Central City." She told him. Barry nodded. "Okay, great!" He walked over to the bags. "I'll come back and get these." He told her. She nodded.

"Okay, so until you have a place to stay, Iris has made room for you in her bedroom. You can stay with us." He told her. Ella hesitated, but finally accepted. "Alright, thanks." "No problem." He smiled.

Just then he leaned down an picked her up in his arms bridal style. She stiffened in his arms remembering when he had down this before, as the Flash. Ella felt strange that it had been Barry all along. Barry must have realized as well because he froze and stared at her. He cleared his throat. "Ready?" He asked. She nodded. He grinned. "Hold on tight." Ella tightened her arms around his neck. Before she knew it he took off running.

The world became a blur and lightning cracked around them. It was an incredible sight and feeling. She could never get tired of it. In seconds they came to a stop. She looked around and saw that they were standing on the porch of the West's Barry smiled. "Home sweet home."

He set her down and flashed her a white smile. "Be right back." In a flash he was gone and seconds later he was back. He had in his hands, her bags. Barry opened the door for he and Ella. "Iris! We're here!" He yelled.

Ella heard someone run down the stairs. When Iris saw Ella she smiled widely and ran to her. Ella laughed as Iris crushed her in a hug. "I missed you too, Iris." She laughed. Iris pulled away. "You have no idea how boring it's been without you here! I missed you so much!" She told Ella. Ella smiled. "Same here." They hugged again. Iris pulled away and looked at Barry. "You can just take those to my room Bare." She told him. He nodded and took them up stairs.

Iris took Ella over to the couch and sat her down. "So. . .everything okay with you and Barry?" She asked. Ella sighed and looked away. "I mean. . .I don't know, Iris. Honestly I don't think we'll ever be like we used to." Iris looked at Ella sadly. "Ella, Barry's been your best friend since childhood. You guys were best friends even before you met me. You were inseparable. You can't just let something like his tear you both apart." Iris told her.

Ella shook her head, and closed her eyes. Iris put her hand on Ella's. "Everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how they learn from them." Ella knew Iris was right. "I know, but you know Barry as well as I do, Iris. When he makes a mistake he doesn't learn from it. He just makes the same mistake over again." Ella told her.

Iris sighed she opened her mouth to say something else, but was interrupted when Barry cane down stairs. "Hey. . . What's going on?" He asked seeing how depressed they both looked. Ella and Iris looked over and smiled. "Nothing, just talking about girl stuff." Iris answered. Barry scrunched his eyebrows together. "Okay?" He sat down on the couch next to Iris.

"So I put your luggage upstairs in Iris's room. So you can unpack whenever." Barry smiled. Ella smiled and nodded. "Thanks Barry, well I'll go on upstairs and unpack." Ella said standing up. Barry and Iris stood as she left to go upstairs.
