Barry's POV.

Barry ran to Smallville. The name did the city justice. Barry stopped and asked for directions to 1401 Kent road. A lady told him which way to go. Barry thanked her and ran off. He ran down a long dirt road, passed a high school, and continued on. Barry stopped when he realized he had passed a mailbox with 1401 on it. Barry ran back a little ways and stopped in front of the mailbox.

Sure enough it had the address 1401 on it. Barry looked up passed the mailbox. He saw a barn and a farm house up on a hill. Barry saw that some lights were on downstairs and the porch light was on.

Barry ran up to the porch and stared at the door. He hesitated, but soon rang the doorbell. Barry's heart picked up it's pace. Barry looked through the window by the door. After a minute he heard voices. Through the curtains he saw a young woman approaching the door. Barry began to feel his heart racing faster and faster.

Just then the door opened to reveal a smiling Ella. She was wearing very casual close and a pony tail. She looked much different than he remembered her. More natural. As soon as she saw him her smile faded and her eyes widened. Barry put his hands in his pockets and smiled sheepishly. "Hey."

Ella's POV.

Ella was sitting with Martha Kent and watching tv. During the past few months Ella had gotten a job at the local news paper and had started a new life in Smallville.

Clark's mother had been so kind and they both grew to care for
one-another like family. So much so that when Ella had gained enough money to rent an apartment Martha had insisted that she live with her bad not worry about getting an apartment. Ella graciously agreed and continued to take care of Martha.

Ella looked over at Martha who was watching the tv intently. Ella was waiting to Here the door bell. Tonight they were expecting some company. An old friend of Martha's was coming to visit her. Soon Ella heard the doorbell. "I'll get it!" Ella told Martha. Martha smiled.

Ella got up and went to the door. She opened the door to greet Martha's friend with a smile. Ella's smile soon faded when she saw who was standing in front of her. Her eyes widened. "Hey." Barry smiled sheepishly. Ella gave him a cold glare. "What are you doing here?" She asked. Barry looked down and licked his lips. "I needed to see you." He answered.

Ella looked to the side in disgust. She looked back at him. "How'd you find me?" She asked. Barry looked down and back up at Ella. "I had Felicity track you." Ella scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Of course. How?" She asked. Barry took a deep breath and swallowed. "She hacked your phone." He answered sheepishly. Ella breathed a frustrated laugh. "Of course she did." She looked down.

She heard Barry sigh. "Look, Ella-" Ella closed her eyes. She couldn't do this. Not again. Not after all that he had said to her. "Barry!" Barry became silent. She looked at him. Hurt showed on his face. "I'm not doing this, okay? Not again." She told him. "But Ella if you'd just listen to me-"

She cut him off again. "Listen to what?! I listened to you before and all you did was accuse me!" She exclaimed. "I know! I know." Ella became quiet as she watched him. "And I'm sorry." She rolled her eyes and shook her head. He continued "That's why I'm here,. . .to apologize."

She looked back at him. "I never should have said those things to you. Ever. I had no right." Tears welled up in Ella's eyes remembering the cruel words he had said that night. She gripped the door knob. "You have been a great best friend to me, Ella. You have been there for me every time you were able. And for that I am eternally grateful. I don't deserve you." Barry told her.
