Brooklyn gave me a little device and put a glass of water down. "We both need to swallow one. I have my little brother backing us up incase we both get stolen"

I glanced at Clyde who was blasting music. "I need your attention, Marcus."

"You always have it don't worry."  I smiled.

She smirked and held up the device. "This is a tracker. You have to swallow it like a pill."

"And how does it-"

"You have to shit it out. It's pretty easy don't worry." She said.

"So you've done this before...."

"Every time I go on a mission."

I popped it in my mouth and drank as well as she. She snapped and Clyde blinked back to reality. "Are the trackers working?"

He looked down at the screen and nodded. "Wait is he following us?"

"No because that might be a bit risky. But with these trackers he can follow afterwards and help us out."

"Look at you junior super hero."

"It's no big deal" He blushed and smiled. His eyes was hidden behind his dark black hair. His eyes were much darker than Brook's, that made me wonder how they were even related.

"Ready?" Brooklyn took a deep breath.

"No...listen."

"Hmm? I can take care of myself if thats what you're worried about." She said fixing her shirt

"I know you can. But that doesn't stop me from worrying. If anything happens to you.... just stay alert. Don't let your guard down."

She shifted her eyes back towards me. "Main priority is Lucy. So I don't want you freaking out if you see something that Shield needs. If there is time there is sure. But if we are running for out lives-" I said

"I undetstand...." She sighed.

"Just understand where I'm coming from......."

"Dangerous people, Dangerous place, stay alert and don't do stupid and risky things. Sounds like a lecture I would give you." She chuckled.

"Who do you think I got the words from."  I laughed leaving. "Later Clyde." She waved. "Stay attentive. Our lives depend on it." She warned. I ran close to the area AIM was picking up people's faces. We walked out of the alley and started down the dead street.

It was a beautiful day, why wasn't anyone out here. Brook took the first step and looked at me with a worried look. I tightened my grip on her hand and led the walk. "Is this your first time-"

"I don't lead the mission I'm usually support." she said quietly.

"You aren't support...... There is no label to either of us. We are rescuing an agent and saving another."

"Still......"

"Don't think about it too much." I smiled. We walked alittle ways more.

A small girl ran up to me with wonder in her eyes. "Oh! Hi there." Her two front teeth were gone and looked absolutely freaking adorable.

I squatted and smiled. "What's your name?"

"Hailey." She looked down.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to talk to strangers." Brooklyn smiled

"Didn't your mother tell you boys have cooties and are icky?" She said looking at our hands.

"She's not wrong." I laughed.
