I watched Slyvester as he was getting his hair cut. Nathan and I promised a makeover before the whole AIM thing. Now we are back, finally.

He sat there excited to be getting a hair cut like Nathan.  If you are wondering, Nathan has his sides cut and his hair is usually in a bun.

I'd tell him he looks like an asshole with his white hair like that, but he's my bestfriend. But since he's my bestfriend I have told him countless times he looks like an asshole. He doesn't listen

Then his response is usually 'Marcus you are the only asshole here.' Sly sat there excited while he dyed the top of his hair a light red.

He came off the chair and looked at me. "Where to next?" He laughed.

"Well don't you look cute?" Nathan squeezed him.

"Better than you did before." I laughed paying the hair stylist.

"Look!" She pointed to the color. I cocked my head in confusion. "The hair is from Nathan and the color is for you. It's dedicated to my new best friends"

Nathan and I looked at each other. Nathan covered his face and ran outside. "So so sweet"

"I don't know about best friends but the color is good. Maybe I should dye my hair." I mumbled. He grabbed my hand and led me out. "Nathan is going to take you shopping because he has a better sense of fashion."

"You.... You are leaving? Take this and go to 22 Lancaster Avenue. Ask for Slyvester's house. I'll meet you there." He put a key in my hand and waved goodbye as they walked off.

-------

I knocked on the huge ass mansion's door. "How may I help you?" A man with a receeding hair line looked at me weirdly.

"I'm looking for Slyvester's house"

"Ah yes. Ms. Silvia. Her house is over that way. The pool house."

"The um..... No I'm looking for Sylvester's place?" I pulled in my lips and grimaced.

"Silvia." He said slamming the door on my face.

"What an ass" I said going towards a slightly smaller house.

I turned the key and smiled widely. This place had everything. A kitchen with a big island to cook. A television with multiple chairs and couches. A loft for guests to sleep. A bathroom with 3 sinks. Jeez he's rich.

"Is it true?" Someone knocked on the door. I looked through the hole and saw a fairly skinny and pale woman next to a portly man slightly shorter than her.

I opened the door. "Oh my. My daughter actually brought a boy home!!" She grabbed my hands and smiled. "He's very handsome too."

I blushed and got uncomfortable. "Oh I'm not-"

"Are you going to be the one that turns my daughter straight?"

"Wait. Oh my god." I widened my eyes and pulled my hands. "You.... Wow...." I closed the door slowly.

They kicked Sly out of their house because he's not the daughter they wanted. Jesus this family is fucked up. I went exploring through the house and found a pool in the back yard. This might sound selfish. But I might be here a lot more than usual.

"We are back!!" Sly smiled. I poked out of the back room and Sly put at least 10 bags next to the table.

"I see you've met my parents?" He smiled blankly.

"What a bunch of asses."

"You haven't met my siblings."

"Wow your family..."

"Great. I don't have to deal with them and they got the daughter they always wanted so I'm fine."

"How often do they visit?"

"Once a week. I.... want to make them jealous." Sly said averting his eyes. "Do you think..... We can get regulars in here? People who come in everyday to just hang out with us."

"Do you have people in mind?"

"The Avengers? I want to make everyone jealous that I'm hanging with cool people."

"First..... We need to talk about that foaming thing."

Slyvester frowned. "Did you search the house."

I stood there confused. Slyvester took note of my cluelessness and tried to change the topic. "Oh? YOU'RE THE SUSPECT?" I yelled.

Slyvester's eyes widened as they took a deep breath. "What do you want from me?"

"You were damaging property and not to mention people."

"They deserved it."

"I don't care. Either you stop doing that or I bring you in and arrest you for realsies." I narrowed my eyes.

"You just went down a rank on my best friends scale."

"First is the worst. Second is the best." I glared. He stared back but was unable to match my intensity.

"Fine fine. Just bring in more friends and we have a deal"

I smirked. "Good."

"Is he always this serious?"

"About work yes. Everything else he takes with a few grains of salt" Nathan whispered

Sly took another look at me.
