Chapter 9: My Actress

I laid on a cart next to Nathan. We were both singing Queen, but just different songs. I was singing "Don't Stop Me Now" He was singing "We Are The Champions."

We'd end up singing with each other cause these songs are catchy as hell. "How are my loves?" Allie smiled.

"I'm racing car passing by like LADY GODIVA!!" I screamed. Nathan loved this song, He knows I know he loves this song.

"I'm gonna go go go! There's no stopping me" He said hoarsely. Every day he has been pushed to the limit. I wouldn't be surprised if he just dropped dead.

Yesterday I was water boarded. Which is when they lay you down and put a towel over your head. Then they pour water on your face. It's supposed to simulate drowning.

I was scared of that. Riley has a fear of heights? I.... am scared of drowning. But I held my composure. Allie saw through that. She laughed at me.

"Oh I know that song!!" Allie smiled. We both shut up instantly and rolled our eyes. I wasn't completely drained. Unlike Nathan here. We were planning our escape later. I already memorized the guard's rotation. No I didnt. But if I convince myself enough then yeah.

I've been here for two days and shield hasn't came yet. So unless that pilot went rouge or that Shield doesn't care.

Wouldn't be a surpise. Allie came around and kissed our cheeks. "How are my little sweet peas?"

Nathan opened his mouth. "Shh" I reached and closed it. "We are hungry. Feed us."

She laughed. "You don't get food til later remember?"

"Alright." I began to sit up. "I'm getting sick and tired of this treatment."

"How. What? No-" Allie frowned watching me unstrap my hands.

"Not now" Nathan whispered.

I gathered my strength and hopped with the cart over to Nathan. He didn't look pale now. But he was turned then other way. His hair was reaching his neck. The hair on his body grows faster because of his mother. I don't know her name yet but her powers have something to do with her hair. He was growing facial hair along his chin. A beard would suit him though

Allie popped up infront of us. She smacked me and pushed me away from Nathan. I hit the wall and groaned."Can't you see he's tired enough."

"Maybe not." I smirked.

"Do you understand how much I hate you. You are fucking hot, but annoying." She snapped grabbing my shirt.

"Brooklyn says that sometimes." I laughed. "I'm glad everyone agrees I'm hot."

"I didn't say that. Who is Brooklyn?"

"Brooklyn, New York."

"You said that as a name. Almost as if you have someone waiting for you at home."

"Oh here we go. Digging into my business."

"Is she the one that we just captured?"

"Who did you capture?"

"Nah don't worry about it..."
