"Feeble humans."

A thick, accented voice echoed in your head. Footsteps were heard all around you, pacing slowly in some sort of circle around your being. You couldn't move, you couldn't even open your eyes. The only thing you could do was breathe, and listen to the man's dark words. The more you heard him speak, the more it sounded like an echo.

"Let us give you our power."

A pair of footsteps approached you, followed by a faint groan from somewhere behind you. You mentally gasped, recognizing the sound. Leon? What's going on? Where are we???

A stinging, sharp pain pricked the side of your neck, forcing you to let out a sharp hiss. You tried to force your eyes open, but they wouldn't budge. It was odd, you had no control over your body.

A laugh came from your right, the same deep accented man chuckling at the scene. "Soon, you two will become unable to resist this...intoxicating power."

A fire erupted in the pit of your stomach, stirring a familiar ache growing like a small flame. A faint click was heard, the stinging pain in your neck increasing into something greater. It began to feel like ice was running through your blood, heading straight towards the fire in your stomach. They combined immediately, bursting into an icy hot flash, blinding your vision with white.

You let out a scream, your body fighting against the restraints holding your wrists, your legs impossible to move. Your back arched, the pain spreading like wildfire through every part of your body. You continued to scream, the agony spreading through your body in blinding waves every few seconds. You haven't felt this much pain since Raccoon City, after dealing with the Tyrant. It felt the same, only stronger.

A rather large hand gripped your mouth, muffling the screams. Tears burned in your eyes, the pain becoming too much to bare.

"How interesting," the man's voice was much closer, so close it seemed he was speaking in your ear. "Never have I seen this humble gift make a human react so...interestingly. I wonder what will happen when it...hatches."

Your eyes bursted open, your mouth letting out a loud gasp.

The hand wasn't around your mouth anymore. Their was no one nearby, you were alone in a small enclosed space. "What...?" You looked around, questioning your surroundings.

A slight weight was on your face, your eyes detecting the gold frames around your vision. What the hell am I wearing? What did they put on me?

As you attempted to touch the strange mask on your face, you found yourself unable to move your hands. Your wrists were bound separate over your head in rusty shackles, keeping you against the wall, hanging up at least two or three inches off the ground. You let out a small sigh, quickly accepting the fact you were trapped in an unknown building.

Wait.

"Leon?" You looked around the room, examining the room thoroughly. The room had at least an inch or two of water at the bottom, crates piled up in certain corners, pipes appearing and disappearing in the roofs or down in the floor.

Your attention turned towards the ground, noticing the glowing light by your feet. A rather large wooden platform was placed under you, keeping the objects on them from getting wet. Small bundles of different sized candles rested around you in a small circle, their heat dripping wax down into the hardened pools on the floor. Dried flowers rested beside the candles in bouquets, along with beautifully decorated clay bowls of water containing small sparkling objects you couldn't identify.

"Am I a shrine?" You questioned, your voice loud and clear in your small room space. That's the creepiest thing yet, I must be representing some sort of Spain Goddess.
