The small boat shifted slightly when you stepped onto it. Grabbing onto the edges to steady yourself, you got down and sat on your knees, moving aside the thick ropes and spears to the other side of the boat. The waters were slightly murky, yet somewhat clear to look through. If the sun was out, it would've changed the appearance entirely.

Leon started the engine attached on the back of the boat and started off, heading across the lake. You looked out at the waters, looking for any sign of suspicious water movement. The ride was quiet, the only sounds made were of the motor and the splashing waters. A dark mass caught the corner of your eye, having you look overboard to see what it was. It seemed to disappear, making you feel paranoid. You sat back, looking ahead towards the destination.

The large mouth bursted out of the waters in front of the boat, emitting a large screech. Tapeworm like pale tentacles extruded from its throat, thrashing wildly before the beast dove back into the waters. The impact sent the boat flying back a few feet, landing with a gigantic splash. The anchor had fallen out of the boat, diving fast down into the waters, getting caught in the beast's tail.

When the beast swam, the boat was forced along with it, causing a large jolt every time the beast thrashed. You were forced to hold onto the sides, the last thing you wanted was to fall into the water and down the beast's throat.

"(Y/N)! The spears!" You looked down towards the pile of spears by your hands. You stood slowly, grabbing onto one of the cold steel weapons. You looked ahead, looking for any possible weak spot on the body. I can only see it's tail! How's that gonna help??

The boat suddenly stopped, the waters reaching a calming stillness. You looked around, looking for any sign of the reptile. "Do you see it?" You asked, the spear gripped tightly in your hands. "Behind you!"

You turned quickly, seeing the crocodile's mouth wide open, swimming towards you with fast speed. You aimed as best as you could, throwing the spear to hopefully what could've been it's eyes. Instead, the spear stabbed the roof of its mouth, blood bursting and coating the entire area. It let out a scream, diving underwater quickly, pulling the boat along with it. The waters were stained with a pinkish tint from its blood, the color only enhanced, meaning it was bleeding rather quickly.

"Leon, I'm positive that just these spears aren't enough!" You held onto the sides tightly again, watching the beast swim around in different directions. Its head appeared again out of the water, swimming faster towards the boat with bloody mouth exposed, you reached for another spear and threw it in it's mouth again, the spear lodging itself into the bundle of tentacles before it shut. The beast dove under the water again, its tail sticking upwards before slamming down hard. The waves threw the boat in the air again, yet you weren't prepared for it. Once the boat fell in the water, you had fallen out with a yelp of alarm.

The waters were freezing cold, shocking your nerves, forcing your body to tense up. You forced your eyes open, looking around for the beast. The dark mass was swimming in a large circle around the boat a few feet away, stalking Leon while completely unaware of you. You swam up quickly, taking in a large breath of air.

Just then, you remembered something back in Raccoon City. The way Claire had killed the beast struck an idea in your head. Your hand reached around towards your belt, unclipping a red grenade. Let's hope this works.

You took a large breath, then dove back into the chilling waters, swimming fast towards the crocodile. Whether it had eyes or not, it began to swim towards your direction. It's mouth opened, blood swirling out in thick swirls, tentacles thrashing in your direction. You waited, watching it inch closer.

At the perfect opportunity, your hand went towards the pin and pulled it, letting it sink down below. You swam upwards as soon as the large mouth reached for you, the grenade going straight down its throat. Your feet brushed against its head, using that, you push yourself up for a boost to reach the surface. You gasped, panting hard and searching for the boat. "Leon!" You yelled out, searching frantically.
