"Leon!!!! (Y/N)!!!!!"

"Is that Ashley??" You cried in alarm, your pace quickly increasing due to the girl's screams echoing through the entire area.

"(Y/N), Wait!" Leon yelled to you, seeing you run ahead, adrenaline filling your veins to increase your speed. Leon's yells became muted at this point, your mind set on Ashley's cries.

The narrow rocky path you ran on had taken you and Leon through small tunnels within the rocky walls. It was like walking through a small maze, layered with makeshift wooden platforms, searching your way for that piece of cheese at the proper ending.

You continued running, quickly coming across an area of makeshift warehouses on the edge of a cliff. Ashley's screams were more clear, but her location was difficult from all the wood and wire walls that were built from the remains of an old building.

All of a sudden, her screams ceased.

"What?" You panted, looking around at the silent area. What happened? She was only screaming like, three seconds ago...

A loud thud was heard behind the wall next to you, making you freeze midstep, holding your breath while listening. The sound of heavy footsteps, followed by rattling bullets and heavy breathing, didn't sound like an excellent combination.

A pair of arms wrapped around your neck, making you gasp with alarm as your body was pulled backwards, a dirty hand cupping over your mouth. One of your hands found the culprit's arm, while the other dropped your gun and reached for the knife in its sheath. You knew it was an enemy, it sure wasn't Leon. He would've said something first. And he sure wouldn't have grabbed me in such a way either...

Before you had a proper chance to kill off your attacker, the footsteps appeared around the corner of the broken wall, exposing the rather large enemy.

It was a very tall man, not as tall as the Big Cheese. He was fat with muscle, bald and dressed in cameo covered clothes with a string of bullets. In his arms he presented a machine gun, the ammunition belt touching the rocky floor beneath you. He was pissed, aiming the weapon straight towards you. "Te voy a matar!!!!" He roared with a thick, accented battlecry.

You had merely a few seconds to react, it was either be killed by the big guy, or the little guy holding you in place.
Holding me in place...

Perfect.

Your hand retracted away from your knife, joining the other one grabbing onto your attacker's arm, gripping the fabric of his jacket tightly. You twisted his arm as hard as you could, pulling it away from your neck to release you. With a struggled cry, you pushed the man forward, allowing yourself some room to run away, quickly grabbing your gun off the floor.

A piercing noise erupted in the air, caused by the massive gunfire from the large man's machine gun. You could hear each bullet being forced out of its casing, littering the rocky floor beneath you. You continued to run, your goal was to head towards the corner piece of the ruined building wall.

Just as you expected, the bullets pierced the man who held you, forcing agonizing cries from his mouth. Most of the bullets punctured him like a pin cushion, saving the trouble of hitting you instead. That didn't mean you were completely safe, two bullets managed to graze your left arm, one bullet knocking the gun from your right hand.

Finally, you made it towards the corner, sliding behind it just in time. You panted hard, taking shelter in the safety of the rock walls, hearing the bullets richochet off. In the next few seconds, the gunfire ceased, leaving you listening to your frantic heartbeat. The adrenaline prevented you from feeling the pain from the grazes, but you sure felt the blood pouring out. They weren't deep, it was just enough to affect you.
