Ada walked ahead of you with a brisk pace, leaving you following her without a fault in your step, despite the strange white heels that were placed on your feet.

They really went all out in the worst way.

"Do you know where Leon is?" You couldn't help but ask, catching up to Ada to where you were walking alongside her.

"I have an idea on his location, but it's not a good one."

"Tell me."

She looked towards you, a smirk forming on her face. "Leon's probably fighting Krauser right now, maybe fighting over their love for you."

You stopped walking immediately, shock written all over your face, which is what Ada wanted to see. "Krauser... he's alive?"

"And he loves you. Ahh (Y/N), you're so oblivious to a man's emotions. Even for how many years?" She continued walking, leaving you behind a few feet. "Well, however long you've known him, he loves you as much as Leon does."

Your mind was practically racing with confusing thoughts. The first one that circled your brain was the fact that Krauser was alive, after so many years. Were my suspicions correct? Did he kidnap Ashley...? I don't understand, why?

The second thought was the fact he liked you-loved you even. You felt shame cloud your mind, feeling bad and embarrassed that you hadn't known sooner. You had so many questions for him, you had to find him immediately, you told yourself this.

"You coming?" Ada called out to you, breaking your train of thought. "Huh? Yeah." You broke off into a sprint, mindful of your heels. You were used to wedges, not stilettos.

Ada led you into a factory building, walking various twists and turns from metal walls to wire platforms. She held up a hand, stopping you in your steps. "Hold on," she said, forcing you to stay quiet with her.

Faint echoes were ringing throughout the building, echoing eerily off the metal walls.
Steel clashing against steel. Grunt following grunt.

"Someone's fighting something." You whispered. Ada nodded in comply. "More like someone. They're up ahead, and it doesn't sound good."

It sounded like Leon and Krauser were fighting up ahead. Their words were spoken with haste, yet you couldn't make out what they were specifically saying.

"I'm gonna have to go stop them," Ada pulled out a gun from her side, looking over towards you. "Stay here, I'm positive after what happened to you, you wouldn't want to rile them up any more." She walked ahead, climbing up onto another metal platform, disappearing from your sight.

You stood alone in the discomforting silence. The sounds of steel scraping against each other sounded like nails on a chalkboard, making you hesitate on obeying Ada's orders.

You had to see Krauser. You thought the man was dead, and he kidnapped Ashley. You needed answers, and you needed them immediately.

"Sorry Ada," you spoke to yourself, walking ahead fast towards the metal platform. It was difficult to keep quiet, due to your heels making a loud fuss against the metal. After a couple struggles to find a good spot to stop, you found a narrow platform with thin rails, looming over the entire fight happening below.

You saw Leon and Krauser, appearing more taller and buff than you last remembered him. The fight was very heated, full of tension and burning hatred for one another. You knew something was never right with the two, and it seemed to clearly show in the conflict.

Krauser kicked Leon straight in the back, sending him towards the ground in a panting, groaning mess. Leon turned his body around, looking up at Krauser as his grip on his knife tightened.
