You woke up, feeling dizzy and disoriented. The first thing you noticed was you were no longer laying on a hard wood floor, you were in a bed. The darkness surrounded you like a mysterious blanket, wrapping you up in silence. The agonizing pain you felt before was no longer in your system, to tell the truth, you felt fine.
It was nighttime, Rain echoed from the outside, hitting against the windows rather hard. Slowly, you sat up, the bed creaking with the movement you made. Your clothes were dry and slightly stiff, but you fixed them immediately. "Leon?" You called out, unable to see anything in the darkness.
Their was no answer.
"Leon??" You called out again, squinting your eyes while they got used to the darkness. Your eyes scanned the ground, remembering the events that ended you both up in this shack. He wasn't on the ground, and he was nowhere else in the shack. "Where are you?" You asked yourself with a softer voice. You slowly got out of bed, standing carefully so you wouldn't get too dizzy.
Your hands grabbed ahold of Leon's jacket and pulled it closed across your chest, crossing your arms while you walked towards the door. The scent of fresh rain hit you when you opened the door, the rain coming down rather hard to the ground, flooding in small muddy pools.
The droplets were rather large, hitting your clothes and face with a slight refreshing feel. Your hair grew damp from the rain, but you paid no mind. Pikes and stands of fire lit brightly in the darkness, the first thing you noticed while stepping out of the shack. The fire pikes led a small path towards a familiar looking stone door, carrying the moth insignia. For a while, you wondered if Leon had went ahead, or worse.
"No," you told yourself, "Come on now (Y/N), don't think that. He's probably doing something unpredictable."
What the fuck am I telling myself right now?You started to walk back towards the shack, mindful of your steps from the mud. A faint motor sound alerted you, making you turn your attention towards the docks. The boat was gone, yet the motor sounded like it was coming closer...
"Leon???" You watched the boat drive up to the dock, the driver none other than Leon himself. He noticed you immediately, watching your pace quicken as you made your way to the dock, stopping at the edge. He stood up and out of the boat, a black dufflebag on his shoulder. "Glad to see you're awake."
"Same here." You eyed the dufflebag suspiciously. "Whatcha... whatcha got there?"
He slightly smirked at your curiosity, resting a hand on your shoulder. "I'll show you. Come on, let's head inside." He walked past you, leading the way back towards the shack.
He closed the door behind you, turning on a flashlight he had and placed it on the small table, lighting up the room dimly yet well enough. He placed the dufflebag onto the table and zipped it open, stepping aside and motioning you to look.
You eyed him in question, stepping toward the table and looking inside the bag. You did a double take, not believing what you saw for a moment. "You're kidding." Your hands grabbed ahold of the first weapon you saw, which was a semiautomatic shotgun. "Leon...what?!" You looked at him, seeing the smirk on his face.
"Pretty cool, right?"
"Well, yeah! Damn," You placed the shotgun down to the side, pulling out the next weapon that seemed the largest, a sniper rifle. "Where on earth did you get your hands on these?"
"Well, that's the thing I've been meaning to tell you actually." You placed the rifle down on the table next to the shotgun, looking at Leon. "You see," His face changed a bit, thinking on how he was going to say this without sounding crazy.
