The room was much more elegant than you expected when you first walked in.

The walls were covered with dark wood frames and decorative red and white colored wallpaper. The carpeting matched the color of the heavy red silk curtains by the windows, the unlit chandeliers gave the room a dark glow. A large red bed framed with gold came into your view, two large cupboards on either side. An unlit fireplace was against the wall on the opposite end, followed by a work desk with messy papers.

This must be some royal bedroom. It's gorgeous for a castle.

What caught your attention was the strange white fabric displayed ontop of the red and gold covers. You approached slowly, staring at the outfit laying on the bed. Maybe that priest guy was taking me here.

A white dress was sprawled out across the surface. The fabric was soft to the touch, like liquid silk among your fingers. The skirt reached to the ground and layed an inch or two across the floor, showing it was quite a long dress. It was bare of any sort of design or major detail. No different color fabric, no jewels, nothing.

The only item missing from this plain dress were the shoulders and sleeves.

If you were to wear the dress, your upper body would almost be exposed. That gave you a bit of an unsettling feeling in the pit of your stomach, knowing that you would've been showing that much skin. You examined the jewelry to go with the dress. A few gold bangles layed beside the dress in a straight line, also following the same fashion of the dress.

Plain.

Their were no gems within the metal, no designs carved in. Nothing.

The main attraction was focused on the familiar gold mask resting ontop of a black fabric pillow. Once you saw it, it made you step back slightly. It was the same gold mask you were forced to wear the first time you were taken by the big cheese. It looked polished and cleaned up, the three gems ontop sparkling. It's beauty was to stand out among the plain clothes.

That's a bit strange. If they so desperately wanted me to be this 'Queen of the Crows', why is all this get up white? Crows are black.

"Those are some nice trinkets you have there, stranger." A rough voice spoke right next to you.

You let out a scream and jumped away, almost tripping over your own feet. Your hand went to your chest, your heart beating fast while you stared at the culprit.

A man stood in the center of the room. He was dressed in hooded black robes, but not the kind of robes the others had on them. Most of his face was covered by a bandana, his eyes slightly narrowed in humor from your reaction. "I hope I didn't scare you." He slightly chuckled, his voice faintly raspy.

You wanted to pull your gun out at him, but he didn't attack you. He didn't look dangerous, he didn't look like he belonged here at all.

"Who are you?" You spoke first, your hand on your gun just in case.

He eyed the bed, gazing at the mask and bracelets laying beside the dress. "I could offer you something in exchange for those trinkets stranger."

Wait a minute...

"Are you the merchant that-" He met your gaze, confirming your suspicions.

"Oh."
You looked towards the mask and bracelets. It's not like I need them. The mask already creeps me out to begin with.

"What can you give me for these?"

"Depends, what do you need?"

"Well, I need a better weapon. Like a shotgun, I lost mine earlier."
