The boat sped along the water rather fast, bouncing slightly to accommodate the sudden waves once in a while. The breeze carried the strong scent of the sea, faint droplets of water spraying across your cheeks when the boat's speed continued to increase.

The ride was silent, despite the boat's roaring engine, yet it was comfortable. You kept your gaze out at the dark horizon, seeing how thick the clouds still remained after so much time had passed. You forgot what time you arrived at your first destination, who knows, it could probably be three in the morning right now.

Your mind continued to run through various scenarios, picking apart words and putting them together in different phrases. Honestly, you had no idea whatsoever on how you were going to tell Leon about the Queen Plaga inside you. It was stress enough knowing it had become a gigantic goose chase with Ashley, you didn't want to add onto the pressure.

You took your eyes away from the water scenery and looked over at Ada and Leon.

Ada had both hands on the wheel, driving along silently towards this "island", where supposedly they had taken Ashley. Leon sat in the passenger seat, resting his head on his propped up arm.

For a moment, you felt like a small child in the backseat of a car. It was awkward, like you were an uninvited third wheel.

More like Ada is the third wheel.

You let out a small sigh, looking ahead at the large island that grew closer. It looked like a large factory, due to the countless towers exhaling smoke into the horizon. Why'd they take Ashley here? This looks nothing like all medieval Spanish decor back at the the other place.

Your thoughts quickly shattered like glass when you felt your body being thrown towards the left. Thankfully, your hands supported your weight by grabbing tightly onto Ada's seat. You looked up with surprise, seeing Ada turn sharply towards the rocky cliff, stopping a foot or two away.

She raised her hand in the air, aiming up towards the rocky cliff edge with a gun. She fired, releasing a large hook shooting rather far towards the cliff. She rose up from her seat, putting one heel on the steering wheel while standing up. "Got some business to take care of," She looked over towards Leon, you weren't sure what look she was giving him, but her tone of voice made it incredibly suspicious.

"See you later."

She clicked the trigger on her gun, the rope on the hook tightening drastically, sending her high into the air. Once her foot left the wheel, it sent the boat in a craze, knocking you and Leon off guard.

You continued holding onto the seat in front of you, trying your hardest not to fall out of the boat from the sharp turn. Leon reached over towards the wheel, trying his best to control the steering. The boat smashed into the rocky wall, water splattering all over the boat and the two of you. All the commotion quickly ceased, Leaving a slightly disoriented Leon in the driver's seat.

"Tch. Women."

You looked up from the ground, blinking for a moment to adjust to all the commotion. "Y'know," you slowly stood, mindful of your footing so you wouldn't slip. "Not all women are flawed." You stepped up towards the passenger seat, sitting down with your eyes towards him. "Men can be quite tricky too."

He looked over towards you, seeing your expression towards him. "No one is perfect." He put his hands on the wheel, driving the boat away from the rocky wall. The cool wind hit your face once again, chilling the water droplets that splashed along your cheeks.

"You okay?" You looked at Leon again, noticing the heavy silence that fell upon the both of you. A while ago, it was comfortable. But now...

"I'm fine." Came his response.
