A while had passed, at least close to half an hour.

Leon began to pace around the area, walking back and forth quietly while listening out for Ashley. You remained sitting down at the same spot, eyeing the strange tablet stone Leon collected earlier. The large door was missing a few more pieces to get passed, where they would be in this damn castle is a mystery.

The screeching echo of a door opening caught your attention, looking up from the floor to the familiar leather of Leon's jacket to the orange yarn of Ashley's shirt.

"Leon!!" She cried out, running out from the door and towards the awaiting man. Leon walked over rather fast, quickly caught off guard as Ashley jumped into his arms. He chuckled, patting her back lightly. "You did good!" He praised, looking down at her. She let go of him finally, a look of shame spreading on her features. "I'm sorry if I was.." Leon chuckled again, shaking his head slightly. "Aww, don't worry about it."

You stood up from your spot, keeping an eye on the both of them. "I hope I'm not interrupting something." You put on a semi-fake smile, approaching them slowly.

You still had doubts about Ashley sometimes, but overall she was a good kid, most of the time anyway when she isn't staring at Leon like he's eye candy. She caught sight of you fast, making her step back a little from Leon. "Oh!" She brought out something, holding it up so Leon could get a closer look.

You walked over, stopping at Leon's side to see her holding up a large piece of familiar stone. The sturdy stone held delicate carvings of tails, specifically a set of tails from two different types of animals. "Just our luck right?" You smiled slightly, watching Leon pick up the stone with both hands. "One more to go, then we can get out of this place." He turned around and walked back towards the wall, picking up the second stone on the floor.
He placed them together like missing puzzle pieces, making sure they were correct.

At that moment the radio went off, the familiar annoying beeps sounded comforting for once to your ears. "Oh great, I can't wait to hear Hunnigan's voice again." Your words sounded sarcastic, but you were actually relieved.

Leon lowered both stone tablets slowly while his other hand grabbed the radio. You noticed the stiff tension in his shoulders, making you question what was wrong. "Leon?"

"That isn't Hunnigan." He muttered, clicking the button.

Salazar's voice made you stiffen up, draining all lovely hopeful thoughts you had just a second ago.

"Awww..what a touching moment I witnessed." His taunting voice came through the radio, making you think he was watching you and jacked the signal while he was at it. Leon must've already known it was him, maybe it happened when I was taken away, or when we entered the castle.

"All spoiled thanks to your interruption." Leon muttered, his brows furrowed with irritation. "Why don't you do us all a favor and leave before the audience gets pissed off?"

Salazar laughed in response. "You're nothing but an extra to my script, so don't get too carried away. Your biggest scene is over."

"Excuse me Mr. Salad bar," you interrupted, stepping over to Leon's side. "I don't remember any of us taking part of your goddamn script." The other line went silent for a moment, as if the line went dead.

"Oooh Your Highness!!" Salazar sounded rather surprised at your words. "What are you doing traveling with that pig headed fool? You're supposed to be sleeping! Well then, no matter." He let out a troubled sigh. "Mr. Kennedy, why don't you show me what a first class script is like; through your own actions." The line went dead.
