Chapter 21

"Hello?" My phone started to ring and I was sleeping. "Yes hello its me." I sprang right out of bed and I was excited "Oh hey!! What did you find?" I wanted to know what he found. "She's alive. And doing well." I told him thank you and hung up. "Oh my god!! Leah is alive!" I was thinking about when I could see her. "Grace!!! Suppers ready!!!" I heard Jenny yell from upstairs. "Coming right away Jenny!"

Leah:

"Colby!!!! Colby!!!" I was yelling and yelling. Then I heard him running up the stairs and he came at my doorway and was out of breath. "What?! Is everything alright!?!" I had a tear down my cheek and he comes over and sits on the end of my bed. "Hey what's wrong?" I loved how he cared about me. "Yes...no. I don't know. But guess what?!" He was looking concerned "Okay? What?" I was excited and not excited to tell him. "You remember Grace, my best friend who died?" He was thinking and said "Oh yeah." I couldn't quit smiling an also stop crying. "She's.... she's...she's alive!" His eyes grew big like he just saw a ghost. "Please say something?" It was like he was frozen and couldn't move or speak. He got up and walked back and forth. "I.....I'm so happy for you!! Wait how do you know?" After I got done explaining him who Jay was and how I found out about Grace. "Woah...that's a lot to take in. So Jay is your private detective and bodyguard?" I looked up at the ceiling and looked back at him and said "Yeah, I guess so? But we have to find out where Grace is. At least I have to." He came back over towards me and took my hand and looked at me with his beautiful ocean blue eyes. "Hey we are going to out where Grace is. No matter what we have to go through we will find her." I started to cry a little but and he embraced me with a hug and even though it hurt, I didn't care one bit.

Colby:

I was just about to make pancakes for Leah. When I heard Leah yelling my name like bloody murder. I came running upstairs and I was so worried about what happened. I was panting as I said "What?! Is everything alright!?!" I saw her with a tear down her eyes and then I was more worried than ever. She told me about this guy named Jay who us her personal bodyguard and private detective. And then she told me about her friend Grace isn't dead, she's alive. I was so shocked to find out and Leah didn't take it very well. I got up and started to think. We can find out where she is and then Leah can go and find her. She was so worried about me not agreeing with her but I told her that I would help her to find where Grace is.

Grace:

I ran upstairs and told Jenny about Leah. Jenny is like my mom but not. After I "died" she found me and took me in and has taken care of me since. I had to live with her and I had to transfer schools. Get a new identity and couldn't tell anyone else about my past. I have been telling Jenny for a long time about Leah and how she was my best friend. And after I lost Leah....my life wasn't happy anymore and I needed her the most in my life. She was my sunshine in the darkest moments. "Jenny, guess what?!!" She looked at me with her green eyes and brown short hair. "What?! Hun, is everything alright?" She was making me pancakes. That's what me and Leah used to eat in the mornings before I lost her. "Jay, found Leah. Remember the guy I hired to find and protect Leah?" She turned around and looked so confused. "What?! That's...that's amazing and I'm so happy for you. You finally found her!" I was doing a little happy dance in my head. It was time to go to school. So I got in my car (which was a Monte Carlo) and drove to school.

*After school*

"Okay seea later Bailey!!" My friend said that to me as I was leaving.I for in my car and started to drive "home". "Hey Jenny! How was your day?" She looked at me and was smiling and answered me "Good. How was school?" I rolled my eyes and said "Boring, same old,same old. Oh and this guy in my class Steve won't stop bothering me. I think he likes me." Just as I said that I got a phone call from Jay. "I'll be downstairs if ya need me. Bye." I was quickly rushing downstairs because I didn't want Jenny to hear me and Jay talking. I picked up the phone and said "Hello." I could hear a lot of noise in the background. "Oh yes hello. Is about Leah." I was scared because nothing better of happened to her. "Yeah what about her? She better of not of gotten hurt!" Jay took a deep breath in told me. "Okay don't get mad at me but?" I was getting angrier by the minute. "She got in a car accident. And by the way the car accident looked, it wasn't no accident." Now I was really ticked off. "WHAT?!!!?? Is she okay?!? She better be okay!" I heard Jay mumble "oh crap" "She is doing really good. She has her boyfriend taking care of her. And her cute dog Alastair." I felt so sad when I heard that she had a boyfriend and her life has changed so much and I'm so happy for her. "Okay, I need you to find out who did this." Jay said "Okay, I'm on it!" Then he hung up. I had a thought about trying to use Leah's old phone number to call her.

Leah:

I was getting up do to my therapy. I got dressed and went downstairs. "Mmm...something smells really good!" I looked over to see Colby making me lunch. He turned around and went over towards me and gave me a hug. And then we leaned his head down and gave me a kiss. "Wow! What was that for?" He looked down at me and smiled. "Oh, nothing. Just little thing I like to do to say have an awesome day." We both laughed and couldn't stop. He made me my favorite meal. PINAPPLE PIZZA!!!! I was so happy that me made me pineapple pizza. After we got done eating I went outside and I had to walk. So we went outside and we walked Alastair. We walked for a good 10 minutes and then went back to my house and then we ate some supper. I ate a late lunch.

*Couple hours later*

"Hey Colby! I'm gonna get in the shower!" I yelled downstairs at Colby. "Okay!! I'll be up soon!" I just about to enter the bathroom. When I got a phone call from and unknown number. "Hello? Who is this?" Yet again I couldn't hear much background. "Um...yes. Is this Leah Wolford?" This lady said on the other line. "Yes? Who is this?" I heard sniffles in the background "Oh my god!!! Leah? Its....its...its Grace!"
