Different Lives, Different Events

Chapter 28

Corey:

I've never been to Ohio before and this is my first time being here. We'll I take that back, I went to school and college with Leah. But other than that, that's all the times I've ever been here. Leah and Colby told us that we will be staying at a fancy hotel.  Leah looks so tired and I feel so bad for her because she hasn't seen her best friend for like ever. So Colby and Leah take off to the hotel. Me and Katy just went around Columbus trying to find something fun to do.

Katy:

We both looked all over Columbus for something to do. Then I once remembered that there was a mall near Columbus. We drove there and we walked around a lot. Went into a lot of stores and found a lot of things. Corey and I made a deal, he pays everything I want for me and I pay for the food that we both eat. After we had our fun going around and doing everything in the mall we left and went somewhere else. I remembered that there is a movie theater around here. "Ooo...I know where we can do!! We can to the movie theater!" Corey was so excited to go but I didn't know which movie he wanted to see. "How about a drama, or romance or horror?" Corey rubbed his chin and started to think and then he said "How about Flatliners?" I was so excited because I've always wanted to see that movie. (Side note: I have never seen Flatliner before.) 

3 hours and 45 minutes later

"I loved that movie!" I looked up at him and saw him grinning. "What?!" He looked down at me and laughed "I just love seeing you happy." My heart just melted as he said that. I yawned and he looked down at me and said "You tired?" I laughed and then yawned again and nodded my head. 

Corey:

After we got done with watching the movie, Katy looked really tired so I drove to our hotel. On our way to the hotel Katy fell asleep in the car. Once we got there we saw Colby's rental car and that showed that we were in the right place. We got there and unloaded all of our stuff. I went inside to go and check in. I came back out and woke up Katy. She got out and she got her things and headed to our room. I got the card and opened the door and the hotel room was amazing. Colby and Leah were the room right next to us. Katy headed straight for the bed. I put our things on the couch and I went to bed as well. "Night, I love you." I whispered into her ear and she smiled with her eyes shut and fell asleep.
