Chapter 56

Sam:

As we dropped Leah off and returned home. Grace looked a bit agitated on the way there. "Grace?" I had spoken in a soft voice. She looked at me with her eyebrows raised and biting the inside of her cheek. "What's wrong?" She stops biting and answers. "I just can't help but feel that this whole Jenny thing is done. I feel that she will escape again and then try to kill Leah or Colby or anybody else in that matter. I'm just a little scared. Everything that has happened this past month is insane." I pondered that statement. "Yeah Grace I know. We are all afraid of something and worried about something. But Jenny won't escape this time I promise.  The officer gave me reassurance that she will be locked away somewhere far away. Grace as long as I'm with you, you aren't going to be hurt. It's okay to be scared, just don't be so scared that you can't leave your house." As I finished that she looked upset. "Sam I'm not scared to leave my house. I'm not really that scared, a little that's it. But Jenny is a crazy lady. She's made me feel like I was her own daughter for like 3 years and I trusted her." There was a long pause. "Hey can we just not talk about this right now?" I looked at her and smirked. "Yeah I was only asking because you looked upset. But hey, want some food?" She smiled so big and shook her head yes. We went through McDonalds. Grace it a fish fillet sandwich and I got 10 piece chicken nuggets. As we waited for our food Grace asked me. "Do you have an AUX cord?" I raised my eyebrow and said "No why?" Her mouth dropped so far down. "Can we go to Walmart tonight and get one? Pleaseeee?" I looked at her and rolled my eyes. "Yes Grace." She did a high pitched squeal. We got our food and then headed towards Walmart. While we were going there Grace was eating her food. I blinked and in one second her food was gone. "Grace! What the heck? Where is your food?" I looked at her. She had her sandwich stuffed in her mouth. She looked like a chipmunk with its cheeks full of acorns. I laughed until I cried. As she swallowed she gave me a stare. "When the matter comes to food, I spare no mercy." She couldn't help but laugh after she said that.

Grace:

We got to Walmart and we laughed like the whole way here. "Hey Sam?" Sam looked up from his phone to me. "Yes," he said with his smile all big. "Can we also get some like food for the house?" Sam let out a big sigh and then answered me "Yes we can." I grabbed a cart and then started to shop around for food. Sam came running up to me with something in his hand. "Can we get it? Pleaseeeeee!!" It was a box of Captain Crunch. I looked at him and gave me the sad puppy dog look. I rolled my eyes and then said "Yeah" We both laughed. We were in Walmart for about an hour and then decided to check out and get out. We went to the self check out because I don't like people handling my things that I'm getting. Sam helped me put all of things in the bags. Then I remembered "Gosh Dang it! I forgot to get an AUX cord!" I ran back to the technology part to get one. I took the one behind the first one because people like might touch it and then like it's just gross to me. I run back to Sam and check it out. "That was close." We walked to our car and then unloaded our stuff. I was going through the bags to find the AUX cord and the drinks I had bought for me and Sam. We got in and I ripped open the AUX cord box. I plugged it in and on the way home we listened to my music. We got home and unloaded all the things in the fridge and everything. "Sam, I'm going to take a shower." I grabbed my clothes and headed to the shower.

*20 minutes later*

"Hey Sam wanna watch a movie?" I said as I was yawning. I went into our bedroom and Sam had fallen asleep. I smiled and got into bed too. I layed down and my eyes started to close. I then felt Sams arm coming around my waist. I smiled and then went to sleep.
