Different Lives, Different Events

Chapter 36

Sam:

As I was looking for Colby because he ran off because he heard something and thought it was Leah. As we were running we saw Colby's flashlight just rolling around on the ground. We looked around and couldn't find Colby anywhere. Then I looked out of the window and saw flashlights pointing at people who were buff and walking away with something in their hands. I saw Colby's hair dangling as they were carrying him and he was knocked out. The other person was holding Leah and she was wide awake and she was thrashing. I was scared because Colby wasn't moving and I thought he was dead. So we went through the door outside and we all started to run after them. Leah stopped thrashing and looked at us and her face wasn't so scared anymore.

Leah:

I looked behind and Sam and everybody else was running towards us. Grace was being carried by Sam because she was still knocked out. The man who was holding me was distracted by them running towards us. We were in the middle of nowhere because there was nobody around so I kicked the man right in the knee. He collapsed and dropped me. I went after the other man holding on to Colby and kicked him in the gut. He doubled over and dropped Colby, I ran over to him and made sure he was okay. He didn't wake up because he was still knocked out and I just held him. Like 2 seconds later he woke up and I started to tear up and I hugged him. We both got up and looked around. I saw Jenny and she had a gun pointed at Grace. We all froze and looked. "Oh honey, you poor thing. Why couldnt you of chose better people to become friends with." She had her finger on the guns trigger and loaded the gun. "I wish there was more time for you.I really do." As she shot it Grace just stood there and I pushed her out of the way.

Colby:

One moment Leah was right next to me, the other she was running towards Grace. She pushed her out of the way. I heard the gun fire and saw Leah fall to the ground. I ran over to her and she wasn't moving. I held her in my arms and I felt something wet on me. I looked at my hands and saw this red substance, blood. I looked at her stomach and saw the blood coming out more. I started to cry "Leah, please!! You can't leave me!!" I was holding her and crying so much. "Everything is going to be alright, I promise!! I promise..." I was crying uncontrollably and felt like without her I can't live. Once she got shot all of the memories came back of us. I leaned down and kissed her. Still holding her and crying so much. I didn't even care about if the blood was on me, I just wanted her to be okay. I need her in my life, what's the point of living when there's no happiness. I looked down at Leah, she opens her eyes and tried saying "Colby?.....I......love...you" Her last breath and then she closed them again. I was frozen and I started to shake her "Leah?? Please, please open your eyes baby!! Please baby!" I was still crying so much and I looked up and everybody was hugging each other. I looked back down at her and hugged her and never let her go. We saw people running over to us and they looked like thry were helping. They ran over to me and took Leah. We all ran back to where they were parked and put her in the EMS. I rode with her, holding her hand and saying everything is going to be okay. "We're losing her!! Let's hurry up!" Her heartbeat was beating fast and then complete silence.
