Chapter 27

Leah:

I came out of the plane and it was mid-morning and I can't see a dang thing. Katy just looks at me with a kind of scared face and says "Look in front of you." I did what she said but couldn't see a thing. Then I realized who they were, I broke into a run and started to cry and ran right into her arms. "Hey Leah, long time no see?" I looked down at her and I just kept hugging her so tightly and didn't want to ever let go. "Zoie...??" She looked up at me and released me and I was still crying because I haven't seen her in like forever. (Just a side note, Zoie and I have only been friends for about 5 years and Grace and I have been friends for about 10 years in real life). I looked at her and saw a man standing next to her and I coughed and said "Ahem!?" As I coughed. Zoie was looking at me very confused and finally got what I was trying to tell her "Well this is Devan Key my boyfriend." I was thrilled to see she had a boyfriend but also sad because I've missed out on so much in her life.

Zoie:

Leah was trying to signal to Devan for me to introduce who he was. I finally got it and told her who he was. I looked over to the guy on her right and I did the same thing. Dang!! He is really cute! But not cuter than Devan. (Devan Key is an actual person he is related to Collins Key and Devan is in Collins's video a lot. But I think Colby is cuter than Devan. BTW) Leah finally told me "This is Colby Brock my boyfriend and I'm sure once you get to know him he is super nice." I could tell how excited Leah was and it felt so good to see her again. I looked behind her and saw Katy an a man by her side as well an I imagined it was her boyfriend. Katy and Leah told me about everything like what happened and eveything.

Colby:

I finally got to meet Zoie for once I've always wanted to meet her because of what Leah says. Leah was telling Zoie about everything except one thing, the car accident. And I was really confused and Corey,Katy and I all looked at each other with a curious look but didn't tell what happened either because it was for Leah to tell. We told her about Alistair and how he is annoying sometimes and most of the time I love him to death. After all of us got done talking we went to Zoies car and we realized that not everybody will fit plus our luggage. So Leah and I decided to buy a rental until we got back home to California. Leah was still tired and so was I.

Leah:

Zoies car wasn't big enough for everything so me and Colby decided to buy a rental car. I was still super tired and needed a bed right now. We checked into our hotel and stayed there until here we're going to leave. Colby was in charge of booking a hotel room. The room was so big and fancy and I loved everything about it. I called my mom and told her that we weren't going to come right now because we are very, very tired. My mom and dad know that I'm here for Grace and matter in fact Grace has been reaching out to my parents for the last couple of days. (In real life my parents are divorced, so sorry if I don't sound romantic with my parents being together. I truly am. But I'll try my best) I ran right over to the bed and just flopped down and Colby came right behind me, under the warm blankets which smelled like Tide because they probably just fit washed. The pillows were so plush and soft. Tw bed wasn't to rock hard and it wasn't too soft, it was just right. Just everything about the room was amazing!! I fell right asleep. I set my alarm for 4 o'clock. So I had about 7 hours to sleep.

Colby:

I drove to the hotel and we checked into our hotel room. I was so anxious about Leahs reaction. She opened the door and fell right in love with the room. After she called her mom she ran right over to the bed and fell right asleep. I fell asleep too, but before I did Alistair came running up and played with me and Leah. The bed was so comfy and the blankets were so warm, I fell asleep quickly.
