Chapter 55

Colby:

I woke up with something warm in my hand and it was kind of sweaty. I opened my eyes and looked around for what was in my hand. I looked around and saw that it was Leah asleep holding my hand. Her head was turned toward me and she had big and puffy red eyes. I felt so bad seeing her like this. I started to rub my thumb on her hand. As I was stroking her hand she woke up and looked around. Her eyelashes were all wet from crying, her eyes all red and puffy. She looked at me and her face immediately changed from sad to happy. I smiled and then moved over for her to lay up in the bed with me. "Hey, how you feeling?" She looked at me and I said "I'm doing good. How are you?" I said wiping away her tried tears from her face. "Colby...I was so scared that I wasn't going to see you again. I thought that I wasn't going to be happy anymore. After you said that if you died to go and live life by finding someone new. I don't know if I could ever do that. Yeah we've had our ups and downs but we stick through it all the time. I can't loose you Colby." I looked at her and smiled. "Leah if I ever did die I would want you to be happy. If that means finding someone else, then I would want you to find that someone like me. Obviously that would be hard and I'm sorry for putting you through all of this. I never want to loose you either. I love you so much and that's why I kept on fighting for you and Sam and everything else." She cuddled up next to me and I put my arm around her. I kissed her forehead and hugged her. "I love you too Colby." She fell asleep as soon and she said that. She was tired and I understand why she is and I'm pretty tired too. My eyes kept on shutting but they kept on jerking awake. Finally they shut and I fell.

Grace:

I woke up and didn't see Leah around. I looked at Sam and he was asleep. I woke him up. "What's wrong?" He said stretching his arms and legs. "Where's Leah?" He looked around too and said "Maybe Colby is out of surgery?" We both got up and walked over to the front desk. "Excuse me? What room is Colby Brock in?" The nurse looked and me and then asked me "Are you a friend of his?" I nodded and then she said "Room 143." Sam smiled and then said "Thank you." We walked to room 143. We finally got to the room and walked inside. We saw Leah and Colby asleep together on the hospital bed. I went over to Leah and Colby and shook them awake. Leah woke up immediately and looked at me and Sam. "Oh hey guys. What's up?" Leah said as she was trying to wake up. Colby woke up and was confused. "Hey Colbs how you feeling?" He smiled and then said "I'm still alive." We all laughed. "So when are you going to get let out?" Sam asked. "Well I don't know yet. Maybe next week?" Colby sounded upset. "That sucks. Maybe this week since it's Monday and you can get a full week to recover?" Colby rolled his eyes. "Yeah maybe." I looked at Leah who looked so tired and she needed food. "Hey why don't me and Leah and Sam go out to eat and we can drive Leah home and get a shower and change clothes. Maybe even some rest?" Colby looked at Leah and raised his eyebrow. Leah shook her head no but then Colby said "Leah you need sleep. I'll be fine I promise. You can come back anytime and see me whenever you want. Go get some food a shower and some rest okay?" Leah looked like she was going to fall asleep. "Okay sure. I'll be back whenever I can I promise. Love you." She kissed him and then he said "Love you too" We soon left and drove Leah home. Once we got to Leah's house she got out and cake to the drivers window because the window was down. "Thank you for driving me home. See ya guys." She waved bye and went into the house.

Hey guys! I'm sorry that's it's been like a month or two but I've been so busy with finishing out my 8th grade career. I'm so sorry but now it's summer time and I'm going I be trying a lot this time. But June is all booked because my birthday is next month and my brothers graduation party and ughhh so much. Also 3 chapter from now something big is going to happen then in the story.
