Different Lives, Different Events

Chapter 14

Corey:

I woke up in a strange bed and a place that I've never been to. I rolled over to see Katy sleeping still. She woke up and faced me "You sleep well?" I was confused but answered "Yeah? Where are we?" She laughed like I asking a dumb question "Oh you're serious? We are at my house." I was thinking in my mind like, oh yeah that's right. I got up and went on to her balcony. She lived in a nice apartment. She got up and got dressed and went downstairs. I went downstairs after her. She was getting in the fridge for something. She pulled out OJ and then went to the cupboard and pulled a box. It was pancake mix and I was so happy because I love pancakes.
*After eating our pancakes.*
I put both of our dishes on her counter of her sink. "So what do you want to do today? The zoo's open, oh there is a really good ice cream place." She was listening to me and thinking. "I really don't know what are the best places are here. I moved her with Leah just a couple months ago.". She looks kinda sad when she said it. I looked at her and thinking of something to cheer her up. I had a good idea "Get your shoes on and get in the car." She was confused and I told her to not ask any questions. We got into the car and I started to drive.

Katy:
I don't know where we were going. Corey took my car keys and started to drive.
*20 minutes later*
"We are here!" I looked around as Corey said it. It was a place that was in the middle of no where. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I was speechless. "Wow!! How did you ever find this place?!" I looked at him and his feet were dangling off the edge. He looked so happy. As he was looking at the sun as he answered me "I just drove one time and found this. I always come here when I need to clear my mind." He seemed so sad.
*7:30 p.m*
We were still at the the place Corey drove us too. We had been there for a long time.  We were looking up at the stars and all of a sudden I got a call from Colby. He sounded really stressed and he was freaking out "Colby...Colby,come down tell me what's wrong?!" He took a deep breath and talked "Leah just got into a car accident and a semi wasn't watching and hit her. She is right now on her way to the hospital and I don't know how she is!" I was freaking out and I didn't know what to do either. I started to cry because I panicked and I needed to get there. "Colby what hospital?" Colby quickly answered "The one near the Walmart." I didn't have time to think because all it could think about is, is Leah okay?
