Leah:I woke up early in the morning because I had to meet the owner of the place we were going to get married at and the reception. So me and Colby were both up and at'em. We decided to get married next week.
"Colby! You up?"
Well I was up and at'em. I went to the bedroom to see Colby still asleep.
"Colby! Colby!"
He was getting up. I shoved him off the bed. He woke up quickly. I laughed so hard at his reaction.
"Come on Colby. Get a shower. We have to meet the people in about half an hour."
We got up lookin so tired. But he looked so cute in the mornings. With his hair all messed up and his morning face. Oh geez. I need help. I laughed to myself. Colby looked at me weird because I was making hand gestures about everything in my head. Colby got into the shower while I made us a little snack because we were going to get breakfast on the way there.
"Ready?"
I said with a perky and pumped up tone.
"Yeah I guess so."
Colby came out with jeans and a t-shirt. He looked so tired.
"Hey don't worry I'll take you out to Guava Hut for some coffee afterwards okay?"
He shook his head tiredly. Colby said he would drive after grabbing a monster energy drink. I let him because when he has those he's awake. I was so excited to talk to them about our wedding. We got to the place to meet the people at. We decided to have it outside. They had the perfect place because I've always wanted to have it outside. I gasped as I saw it.
"This is so beautiful!"
It's such a big open area for the wedding.
"Also the mosquitoes rarely come out here. You guys will be safe with not getting bitten."
The sales lady said. I looked around and saw where I would say 'I do' to Colby. It was arched, made out of wood and had vines and everything on it. They had white flowers from the top, down. The big ones were on the top and as they go down they get smaller. The alter stood on a little brick placemat almost.
"This is perfect! It's so beautiful!"
I said I'm excitement.
"Over here is where the guest can wait while you show up Leah. Over here they will have a book and food for the waiting. And over there is where the reception will be held."
I had consulted with a wedding planner as well and told her to meet us here. I looked at the reception area. It was a barn that was shiny and looked brand new. The barn was very big on the out side and inside. We walked inside and it was just huge! It looked very pretty.
"The doors that aren't there can be a big white curtain that will be pulled to the sides. As you walk in there will be the table for the bride and groom and all of the bridesmaids and best men. The sides will be the tables for the people. The middle will be the dance floor. The corner can be where the DJ goes. In the front of the table where the bride and groom sit can be the food table. When you walk in there will be a table where you can sign their names and drop off any cards like that."
She smiled as she finished.
"This is all coming together very well. What do you think Colby?"Colby:
As we got there Leah look so mesmerized at the place. It was very beautiful if I do say so for myself. The lady and wedding planner went over the details and everything else. We went to the receptions area and looked at it. It was huge. It had to fit at least or more than 1,000 people.
"This is all coming together very well. What do you think Colby?"
Leah said looking up at me.
"I think this is very beautiful."
She smiled and I smiled back. We both looked around as the lady was talking and planning where everything will go. I looked over to Leah who was talking to the wedding planner. Man she is so ahh I can't even explain what she means to me. I can't wait to marry her next week. We were thinking on having it in 3 weeks on a Saturday. So we have a lot of things to call and order. This means it's going to be hectic for a couple of weeks. But it will all be worth it. We are walking out of the barn and back to our cars. We have to go to a cake store to get a flavor of cake and a design.
"Oh my gosh!"
Leah says as she gets in.
"What's wrong baby?"
"There's just too much stuff going on and a million things happening. Tonight we are chill axing. Okay?"
"Okay but we can't wait till the last minute to do this okay?"
"Okay."
I drove to the place and we tested cake flavors. We just decided on plain vanilla which we both like. By the time all of that was done it was like 5 at night. We hadn't eaten anything tonight. We decided to get some food at McDonalds. We then headed home because Leah had fallen asleep already. I got her the chicken crisp wrap her favorite.
"Hey baby. We are home. Let's get some food and then we can go to sleep, okay?"
She woke straight up. She nodded and then got out and walked to the apartment. We got in and got some food in us. Leah got done eating and went straight to bed. I watched some tv and then went to bed. Leah was sleeping so peacefully. I tried not to move her while getting in bed. I covered us both up and then I soon fell asleep as well.
