Chapter 34

Okay I have an announcement. Okay so Grace and Sam just got in the story and I want them to become closer together so sorry if this chapter is mostly about Grace and Sam. This is for you Grace!!!

Grace:

We all bolted out of Leah's house. There were like 5 people here with us and we have to follow Jenny. I can't believe why she would do that. I trusted her and now its all my fault that Leah is taken. I started to cry because I didn't know what else to do. I felt a hand placed on my shoulder. I turned around with my eyes red and watery. Its was Sam, I have never met him before but Leah had told me in the car that Colby had told Sam about me. "Hey are you okay?" Sam said to me in a concerned tone. I wiped away my tears and looked at him. Dang...!!! He is handsome, his blue eyes popped out so much and the funny thing is that I had hands like him,kind of. "Yeah, I'm okay. I don't think we ever properly met. I'm Grace, Leah's best friend." I held out my hand to shake his. He held out his hand quickly and said "Well hello Grace, I'm Samuel John Golbach, but you can call me Sam." I laughed a little. He seems really nice. We talked for awhile about our dislikes and our likes. I actually found out something, we both played the alto sax. (In real life they actually do.) Then we got yelled at because everybody was already in the car. Me and Sam rode with Colby and Corey and Katy rode together. Sam sat in the back with me and we talked for a long time.

Sam:

Everybody was pairing up,so me and Grace just rode with Colby. Colby didn't look too good, I've never seen him this worried about one person, especially a girl?? Grace and I talked for most of the time. I found out that we both played the alto sax, pretty exciting right? I actually found out a lot of things that we had in common.

*2 hours later*

"Good talk right?" I said with a questioning tone. She smiled back and said "Indeed, I learned many new things about you Samuel John Golbach, or just Sam?" We both laughed and looked for around everybody else. We met up with Colby and found out the plan. Thankfully Leah had a lot of flashlights in her car, because the place we were at it was really dark. So we each got a flashlight and headed inside. The door creaked so loud as we opened it. The place looked like it had been abandoned for many years because the lights were flickering off and on and there were like cobwebs everywhere. We turned them on and then started to look. In the front was Colby then Corey, then Katy, then me and last but not least Grace. She wanted to go the back because she wanted to keep a close eye on things. We kept walked and found all these rooms and we checked them out and found nothing. Then we heard footsteps, we all stopped and turned around and look in the direction which was behind me. But when I looked around I saw Grace right there scared to death. I smiled at her for reassurance and we kept walking. Then I heard a fast swoosh and looked behind. Grace wasn't there. "Grace?!.......Grace?!!!"

Leah:

I woke up with a terrible headache. My vision was blury and I tried to look around to see where I was. My wrists were chained up to a wall and my ankles were chained down to the floor. I felt something wet run down the side of my head. It ran down next to my cheek, it was blood. I looked around and I couldn't really see anything besides a door with a window in it and a light over me. I saw a bed to my left and a mirror and toilet to my right. I looked up at my wrist and pulled in the chains a little bit to see if they were loose at the top. They weren't. I gave up eventually and started to memorize everything, then I heard the door click. It was Jenny and two really buff guys. I gave her a straight face and a death stare. "Oh, what's wrong honey? Are you mad?" She looked at me with a pouty face and then laughed. "What do you want?!" I was furious but it wouldn't change anything that I was mad. "What's with the tone? I did you a favor?" I gasped and then was confused. "What was that exactly?" Her face went from laughing to serious mode. "Oh honey, we were watching you the moment you got into the hospital. And after you got out and got that terrible boyfriend of yours." Oh no, she did not just say that about my Colby. "Okay, you barely know him! You don't know anything about him what he has done for me. He's made me happy after I moved." She acted like she wiped away a tear "So sad. Okay now more games, we are asking questions know. Where does Colby live? How did you meet him?" I was confused but then replyed "Why are you asking me these? Didn't you know where he lives and how I met him? If you stalked me everyday then why don't you know the answer?" She pursed her lips and said "Oh, just making sure you were listening. Okay serious questions, well not really a question. You will join us or else." I flinched at the question "Or else what?" She held out her fingers and snapped them, the two men came towards me and started to punch me with all of their force. It hurt so bad, but she asked me the question again, and I replyed with a no. They still beated me up until I couldn't hold myself up anymore. "You had enough?" I looked up at her with my face all bruised everywhere and blood probably coming down my sides. I spit the blood out and said "No!" She was mad at me now, so then her men and herself left. She came back with something. I didn't know what it was until she entered the room. It was Grace having a bag over her head and she was tied up. They took the bag off of her head and she saw me. I looked up at her and sprang up immediately. "Grace?! What do you want from her!" I yelled at Jenny. The man holding Grace pulled out his knife. I got really scared then. "We will make a deal? You do what we say and we don't hurt Grace here." I knew what I had to do. "Leah please don't, don't!! I'm tough remember? Please don't!" I heard Grace's voice crying with a rasp. I saw tears coming down her face. "I'm so sorry Grace, but I don't want you getting hurt again by me. It was all my fault in the beginning, going to the mall, driving. I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you. Please let her go!" I looked away from Grace to Jenny. My face went from a soft and kind face to a furious and hard face. "Thats what I thought?" Jenny said as she snapped her fingers again. They put the bag over Graces head and took her out of the room. I started to cry because I needed her more than ever right now. The men returned with Grace gone. They came over to me and unchained me. Once I had my wrists unchained I tried to punch one of them and I'm surprised I had enough power to hit one and loose his balance. I kicked the other one in the head and he stumbled back. I ran to the door and it was unlocked. I ran out if the room and locked the door from the outside. I was so weak, I couldn't walk right and I was staggering. But I ran so fast out of there. It was like a maze with so many rooms like the one I was in. I kept running and running until I turned a corner and fell right into one of those men's. But it was a different man that punched me right in the face and knocked me out.
