Chapter 52

Colby:

After hearing Leah's elaborate plan, Leah left to go to the park. Once she left I was bossing everybody around in what to do so then this all ends tonight. It honestly felt good that I was in charge. And when I'm in charge I get sassy like The Kardashian's. "Yo bro that doesn't go there. It goes over there!" I was yelling. "Bro, we aren't assembling anything??" Sam said with an eyebrow raised. I looked around while everyone was lookin at me. "Oh, you're right. Oops sorry, bout that. I got caught up in the moment." I was laughing so hard and so was everybody else. "Okay, now the real stuff. I then got back to the feeling that Leah was going out there by herself with Jenny. If we haven't learned this before she can have tricks up her sleeves. I wanted to be there right there and to tell her that she can do it. But I couldn't because Leah said that she needed to this by herself. I just don't trust her alone with Jenny, I trust Leah just not Jenny. I pulled my phone out and looked at the time and it read 7:30 pm. We had 10 minutes to get to the park. "Okay, we need to go." Everybody started to get ready and leave. Leah's parents insisted on coming and I couldn't say no. They rode with me and on the way there it was very awkward. "So how long have you and my daughter been together?" I smiled and thought all the way back to the day of her birthday. I can remember her saying yes, her smile, the way she laughed that day, I remember everything from that day. "We've been dating since last year on her birthday." Her dad didn't give me a smile or anything. As we were pulling up to the stop light her dad asked me "How much do you care about my daughter?" I went from laughing to serious. I thought about this hard and long. "She means the world to me. When Leah got into the car accident and she was in the hospital, I couldn't sleep, eat or even hardly breathe without knowing she was okay. The pain that I felt that day was something that I have never felt before. But when Leah got shot with the whole Jenny accident the whole feeling had happened again. But it was worse because I knew that she could've died and I wouldn't have been able to say I love you for the last time." I started to tear up. I could see his face in the corner of my eye. His face looked like it was sad or that he was surprised by how much I love Leah. "So every night I prayed to god that he wouldn't take her away from me because if he did I wouldn't be able to live this happy. I just hoped and hoped that I would be able to say I love you to her again. After she went home, I stayed with her to make sure that she was okay." I smiled and then looked over at him and he had a tear running down his cheek. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to get sappy. It's just that she means a lot to me." The stoplight turned green and I drove to the park from there. Once we got there, as I turned the car off her dad turned to me and said: "Just please make sure you take care of my daughter and please make her happy." I smiled and said, "I promise." He got out first while I was in the car by myself. Leah's mom stayed home in case something went down and she needed to help. But anyways I got out and walked to the place we were supposed to be at for Leah's plan to work.

Leah:

I left my house ready for this plan to play out. As I was getting into the car I looked at my house one last time and I looked at Colby and everybody else that was in the house. I started to cry because I know that I probably wouldn't be able to see him again. I started to tear up and then I started to bawl. I had to pull out of the driveway before they saw me cry. I pulled out and drove away. I started to head to the park and at every red light, I was wishing that this would end soon because I wanted my life to go back to normal. I wanted to be with Colby, I wanted to live a life with my best friend that I haven't seen in forever and I wanted to just live happily with him. But I have to finish this first before I can move back to LA. I arrived at the park and got out and started to look and walk around. I didn't see anything or anyone around at first. But then I heard someone in heels and I was looking around frantically. Until I saw her just standing there with a grin on her face. She made me mad and more and each time I saw her. "Okay I'm here. What do you want?" She raised her eyebrow and asked "Wow I thought we could have a civilized conversation but I guess not." I rolled my eyes. "Okay nothing about you is civilized. I still don't see why you want with me?" I was getting more mad. There was a clock in the park and I saw the time. Colby and everybody should be here. "I only want to be with my sister and I want her to live with me and everything." I looked back at her and raised an eyebrow. "What? I will never be your sister." She smiled with her painted dark red lips. "Oh honey if only you knew sooner. I'll let you in on a little secret." I walked toward her even more. "And what secret might this be?" I said. She started to walk to me now. "There was never a bomb that was going to kill all of these children and people. I just wanted you to come and talk with me." I was done with this. "You're serious?? I'm leaving then." I turned my back and I heard Jenny yell out a name. And as I was leaving a big bulky dude came and grabbed me. "You are leaving this time. You're coming with me, home. You don't need your boyfriend or your friend or mom and dad." I was thrashing to get out of his hold. I stomped hard on his foot and he released me. I was running away but was stopped as soon as I heard a gun click. "Didn't think it was that easy?" I turned to her. "Do it already then. You've done it before, do it again." I couldn't believe what I was doing. She held the gun up in the air pointed at me and then dropped it. "No I need you alive." As soon as she dropped it I yelled "COLBY!!" She turned to me and saw Colby running out and behind him was my dad. "Dad? What are you doing here?" Jenny raised her gun again and this time pointed to Colby. "HEY! This is between you and me!" She just kept it pointed at him and she wasn't listening to me.

Corey:

Once we got there we heard Leah yelling Colby's name. We ran to the park and saw Jenny pointing a gun at Colby. Leah was yelling at Jenny but she wasn't listening. I stepped out of the brush and started to walk toward Leah. "Corey? What are you doing here?" I was focused on Colby and making sure he wasn't going to get shot. "We are all here with you." I said not trying to sound scared. I saw Leah pull something out quick. I didn't get to see what it was.

Leah:

I've had enough of this. I pulled out a gun that I stole from my dad. I pointed it at Jenny. "Put the gun down!" Jenny turned her head to me. "You won't shoot me. You're too weak." She started to laugh and I clenched the gun in my hand even more. My hands were getting sweaty and it started to slip out of my hand but I held my grip. "Don't test me." I clicked the gun back to load it. "Leave now before the police get here or else." I stared her down even more. She still had the gun pointed at Colby.

Jenny:

I was so mad at Leah right now. She has no idea what I've been through to become like this. I loved my parents but they didn't love me I guess. Leah loves Colby more than anything so I decided to point the gun at him. But then she decided to pull out a gun and point it at me. She won't pull the trigger. She's too weak and she doesn't want to live with blood on her hands. I heard the cops coming. I didn't care anymore because I'm killing someone tonight and then going to jail. I just don't care anymore because I have nothing to lose.

Grace:

We arrived there and saw Leah holding a gun and a gun pointed at Colby. I honestly didn't know what was going on but I was terrified. The cops were coming and Jenny seemed to not care. She just smiled and looked at both Leah and Colby. Leah was upset and you could tell. She was clenched the gun that made her knuckles go white. Once the cops arrived Jenny turned back to Colby with a grin on her face. Then I heard multiple gun shots and everything happened so fast. Then I heard Leah screaming "Nooooo!!!!" In a raspy voice. Once I looked around I saw what happened and ran so fast over to what happened.

Hey! Sorry I haven't been posting a lot. I've been trying to really hard but I've just been busy with softball and school since school is almost over and I need to focus on my school work. And also sorry that there has been so much like having people dying involved and everything but don't wanna sound weird or anything but I like plot twists or I like trying to add suspense to the next chapter.
