Chapter 62

Grace:

I'm so excited for Leah's bachelorette party for the wedding. I'm going to be the maid of honor, Leah had asked me if I wanted to. Of course I said yes, it's my best friend. We had to go and look for Leah's wedding dress and the bridesmaids. Well I know for a fact that Leah's favorite color is orange so maybe she would want to go for an orange color. And I also know for a fact that Leah strongly dislikes the color pink and that she hates glitter, with a fiery passion. But I don't know what she wants but whatever she chooses we are going to love it. Obviously I'm going to give her honest feedback. We get to the dress shop and everybody is there, the bridesmaids, her mom, and me. Colby and Sam are off somewhere looking for the perfect tux. I trust Sam to pick one out that will suit him, haha get it, I said suit. Okay, no? Whatever, wait why am I talking to myself.

"Hello and welcome to Davids Bride and Beauty Dress Shop. What can I do for you today?"
"Um yes, I have a wedding in 2 weeks and we need to get dresses."
Leah said with a very kind tone. The saleslady nodded and we followed her to the most featured dresses.
"Okay thank you very much!"

I saw Leah's reaction as she was going through the dresses. All the dresses were too bright and I know she doesn't like bright things. So she goes more over to the darker section. Not saying that Leah is like emo but she likes neutral colors. She was eyeing a dark wine dress. She picked up out and looked at me. (Dress is up at the beginning.)
"Hey Grace, come here."
I nodded and walked over there.
"Oooo thats really pretty!"
"Yeah I know. I really like it!"
Leah went to the sales lady and asked her for a couple of dresses in different sizes for the bridesmaids.
"Grace can you try this on!"
I went to the room to change in it. I absolutely loved it. I walked out and Leah was all gasping and everything.
"Oh my god! You look even more prettier!"
I rolled my eyes. I was strutting like the Runways. Leah had her phone out taking pictures and everything. We were both laughing so hard.
"Okay okay lets find you a wedding dress!"
I said to Leah. Her eyes got really big and then shook her head. I changed and we went out looking for a wedding dress for Leah.

Leah:

I'm so nervous for this wedding but not because I'm going to marry the best person in the world, besides Grace. I went over to the wedding dresses and looked at them. I was going through them but couldn't find out that I liked. Until I found it. I loved it so much. I went into the dressing room and tried it on. I came out and everyone gasped.
"Leah! I love it! Colby will love it."
"You think?"
I gave it a twirl and then another one. My mom was laughing and then she started to cry. I hugged her and then started to cry.
"This is the one!"
Grace said cheerfully. She went and got the sales lady and told her that we had everything we needed.
"Hey mom can I hide my wedding dress at your house until the day of the wedding. I don't want Colby seeing it."
I asked my mom in begging tone.
"Yeah sure honey!"
My mom said in an excited tone.
"Hey guys I'm tired and everything. I'll grab some food for me and Colby and then go home. Okay?"
I said as I was yawning.
"Okay have fun!"
They all said.
"Bye guys!"
I was walking back to my car and then started to think about our wedding. So many things are going to happen. I turned the key and started to car. As I was driving away I started to think even more about all of this. I'm going to be marrying the man of my dreams and I can't wait to be his forever. I went through McDonalds and got us both some food. As I was driving home I got really really happy and started to smile big time. I'm so happy now. I walked in our house and yelled.
"COLBY! You home?"
He came walking downstairs.
"Yeah what's up babe?"
As we had coming down he saw that I had food and smiled. He went to grab it it but pulled it out of his hands. He smiled and then kissed me. I finally gave him the food. We both ate and talked about the wedding and what's yet still needed to be done. I went upstairs and got a shower. I went straight to bed and didn't even worry about Colby. I fell asleep before Colby came upstairs because he needed a shower and everything. Well goodnight and tomorrow will be a new day full of new possibilities.
