What I've seen a while ago made me realize that a quote that I've read before is true. It goes something like,
"One of the best things in life is finding someone who knows all your flaws, mistakes & weaknesses, but still thinks you're completely amazing."
That weirdo girl is lucky to have found that someone. That weirdo girl is lucky to have found her happy ending.
I gave out a sigh. I know, deep inside me, that I've also found mine… with Alex. Andami ko lang talagang kaartehan sa buhay kaya di matuloy-tuloy yung kwento namin.
It's as if, I'm the antagonist in my own story. It's as if, I'm the one who supress myself from being happy.
Really, Sam? Why not let things go and give in to love? Mahal mo naman si Alex, di ba?
Marami mang uncertainties ang buhay, there's one thing that I am sure of and that is my love for him and his love for me. I think that would be enough to start anew . ♥ :)
Inaantay ko ngayon si Alex sa favorite milk tea shop ko dito sa mall. Handa na kong sabihin sa kanya ang lahat. Handa na kong i-let go ang takot. Handa na kong maging maligaya.
Go, Sam! Kaya mo yan! *u*
Nakita ko na siyang papasok sa shop kaya kinawayan ko siya para makita ako. I gave him my sweetest smile.
Nagtaka lang ako nung may kasama siyang babae. She's gorgeous with her branded clothes. Para siyang modelo na hinugot sa magazine. She also got curves on perfect places.
Naconscious ako sa itsura ko. Nahiya ako bigla sa usual wear kong sneakers, jeans at loose shirt.
Inignore ko na lang yung magandang babae. Ang mahalaga ay ang makausap ko ngayon si Alex.
Magkatabi silang umupo sa harap ko. Nakakapagtaka pero naisip ko na ayos lang naman dahil katapat ko naman si Alex.
"Naistorbo ba kita?" I asked Alex.
"Hindi naman. I'd also like to have some drink before heading to our practice," he answered me.
Buti naman. I just need to get rid of whoever-this-girl-is that he is with.
"Alex, can I talk to you in private? Okay lang ba sa kasama mo? Uhm, may I ask who is she?"
Sorry. I can't help not to ask who the girl is. Feeling ko kasi may something sa kanya, that she's not just some girl.
"Sure. It's fine with me. By the way, I'm Nikki Gutierrez," the girl answered me with a bright smile.
Tss. Di ikaw yung tinatanong ko. Eksena lang?! Saka bakit ba kasama mo si Alex KO?
Pinigilan ko ang sarili kong irapan siya at muling tumingin kay Alex for his answer.
"Kung okay lang sa kanya, then it's fine with me too. Like she've said, she's Nikki, girlfriend ko." -Alex
A-ano daw? Nagkamali ba ko ng dinig? Gi--girl… friend?
GIRLFRIEND?!
The girl smiled at me once more to confirm Alex's introduction, while Alex looked away.
Please tell me na panaginip lang ang lahat… Please lang. Wake me up from this nightmare.
O kaya, sana jino-joke time lang ako ni Alex. Yung bigla siyang tatawa sa namumutla kong mukha at sasabihin niyang sinusubukan niya lang ako.
