Jason's pov

My head was spinning. "Sierra?" I mumble opening the door. "Drunk again?" "No." I lie, leaning on the door for support. "Come to bed." She says. I feel her hand on my arm. "Man I'm dizzy."

*the next day*

Sierra's pov

I went downstairs to get some Tylenol for Jason. He's been so upset lately and has took to drinking too much. I sigh softly and pour a cup of coffee. My eyes go wide. "Wait who brewed this pot of coffee?" I whisper to myself. The stove suddenly turns on! I spin around, a hand to my racing heart. The fridge opens and a sticky note sits on the eggs. It says, "Mama." "My baby." I whisper.

Jason's pov

I groggily walk downstairs, my head pounding. I open the kitchen door in time to see Sierra drop a cup full of coffee and faint! "Sierra!" I shout shocked. I turn the stove off and close the fridge then pull her into my lap. "Sierra baby wake up speak to me!!" I hear soft crying. I stand up, holding her. "Who.... What's going on?" "I'm sorry!" A tiny feminine voice shouts, crying. "Who's..." Sierra suddenly jolts awake, freaking out. "She's here." She whimpers, putting a hand on my cheek. "My baby's here." Then she faints again. And I realize. Miranda.

*a few hours later*

Sierra's pov

I shakily sit on the porch swing, a cup of camomile tea in my shaking hands, trying to calm myself down. She's still here. My little girl is still here. "She's not at peace." I whisper choking back tears. I hear the front door open then Jason sits beside me, wrapping me in a hug. I tell him what I realized. "Baby girl, we don't know that. Maybe she can come back." "I've been thinking about it though. She wouldn't wanna come back if she went to heaven." He sighs. "Just stop thinking about it." He rocks me in his arms. "S-Sierra... I.... There's something I've been wanting to ask you." I look up confused. "And what's that?" "I... I.... Love you. Sierra will you marry me?" My eyes go wide. Tears cascade down my face instantly. "Oh Jason!" I gasp, hugging him. "Yes." I whisper, choking back tears. I cry myself to sleep in his arms.

3rd person pov

An angel girl with a smile on her face. She sits in between the sleeping couple. "Goodnight mom and dad. I love you." She whispers, curling up and falling asleep. She has one thought. Mom's gonna be okay.
