Jason's pov
Michelle came over and I was watching Miranda walk around, playing with her toys. I smile, gladly. I love that little girl to the moon and back. "How's everything going with Kim?" "She's having a hard time." I say with a sigh. "Ally gave her a camera with a bunch of pictures from the last three years." "That poor girl." Miranda toddles over to me so I scoop her up and put her on my lap. "Mitchy." She says reaching for her. I laugh softly and let her crawl to her on the couch. "Oh Jason, I completely forgot why I came over. Well... I'm getting married." She says shocking me. "What?! You are!" I gasp shocked. She nods, tearing up. "Jake is so lucky." I say hugging her. "Will you...... Accompany me down the aisle?" She asks, her voice shaking. Her father, bless his soul, passed away a year ago from a car accident. "I'd be happy to darlin'." I say.
*A few hours later*
Sierra and Kim get home from a spa day. She was hoping to cheer her up a bit. But by the look on her face, it didn't work. Theo was upstairs and Miranda was asleep on my shoulder. "Hey, I've got some great news. Michelle is getting married and.... She.. She asked me to walk her down the aisle." "Oh wow, Jason that's amazing!" She says hugging me. I smile. "I can't believe she picked me." "You deserve it." "Well I'm gonna go get little bit laid down." I head upstairs to Miranda's room. I lay her down in her bed then hear, "Theodore Tyler Aldean, what the fuck is that?!" Uh oh. What's my thirteen year old done this time? Miranda almost wakes up but I get her calmed back down then walk down to my son's room. "What's going on?" She was standing in the room, arms crossed, and a folded magazine in her hand. "Babe?" "Where did Theo get a playboy magazine?" "Well I can assure you he didn't get it from me." I say walking over. "I haven't used magazines like that since I was 16." Her jaw drops making me laugh. "Kidding baby." "Not funny." She says swatting my arm. "Theo? Explain yourself?" I say. "A friend of mine gave it to me. I like it." "Well you're too young for this stuff, kiddo. Wait a few more years, will ya? You're growing up too fast for your mother as it is." She glares at me. "Aw come on Sierra you know it's true." I say, wrapping her in my arms. "But dad-" Theo protests. "No buts son. When you're sixteen, I'll explain everything ya need to know. But not til then? Got it?" He sighs. "Fine." I smile. I hold my loving wife's hand. "Let's head to bed, honey."
