Sierra's pov
I put a heating pad on his sore leg and he winced in pain. "I'm sorry hun I know it hurts." I say sitting beside him worried, his face drenched in sweat, his teeth grit. "Agh God how much longer." He mumbles, putting a hand to his sweaty forehead. I'm worried about him. He sits up suddenly catching me off guard. "What's wrong?" "I... I don't know. I had... A weird feeling." He suddenly screams and puts a hand to his hest. "Jeez kid don't sneak up on me like that!" He gasps. I'm so confused. He glares at the end of the bed with a teasing smile. "Very funny." He says. What's happening?! I stare at him worried and leave the room to call the doctor. "Doctor is hallucinations part of the withdrawals to this medicine?" "No."
Jason's pov
"Dad do you believe in reincarnation?" She asks, now laying beside me. I smile softly at the angel girl and rub my sore leg. "Not really, baby girl." She sits up. "It's real daddy." She says grabbing my arm. "How do you know?" She laughs. "Daddy I've been over there enough to know how things work!" She says laughing. I bite my lip. It's been so many years without this angel girl. We see her here and there. Paranormal stuff, but..... "Why are you telling me this?" I ask. "Oh yeah." She says blushing. "Mama always did say my mind wandered too much." That's actually a side effect of cancer. "And I know what you're thinking. It isn't from the cancer. I was always like that." She says glancing up at me. "Can ghosts read minds?" "Daddy I ain't a ghost. We like to be called spirits." Chills fly down my back. "And no we can't. But anyways the reason I'm here and the reason I asked about reincarnation is.... Well cause.... Well I.... I'm comin' back dad. They're lettin' me come back. As the new baby." I stare at her shocked. "You're kidding!" "No I'm serious. They said folks who didn't get a proper chance, when a new baby is being born, that'll be us!" She smiles excited and hugs me. "That's where past lives come into play. The fact that there's many spirits waiting not just mine and I was chosen, it's pretty exciting, especially since it's my mama and daddy." Wow. "Will you remember your life before?" "I... I don't know. Sometimes ya do. Sometimes ya don't. And even if ya do, it's only bits and pieces." I hug her tight gladly. "I'm so happy right now." I shakily say. "My baby girl.... Is comin' home."
