Sierra's pov
He still hadn't woken up by the time we got to the hospital and the doctors fixed my subpar first aid. "He's lucky you were with him ma'am. He would've bled out without your help." He says, pressing a button on a machine. "He's gonna wake up right?" I ask, trying not to cry. He nods. "He's gonna make a full recovery ma'am. He just needs to rest now." Thank God. That's a huge weight off my shoulders.
Jason's pov
*In his dream*
My leg hurt so bad. Sierra was doing something to it while I was barely conscious on the bus. I heard panicked shouting and everything going in slow motion. I felt nauseous and willed myself to stay awake. My leg was wrapped tight where I couldn't move it. "Baby?" I mumble, trying to focus. I couldn't find her though! Suddenly the bus stops moving. "What's... Where are we?" I open my eyes and everyone is gone. What the heck?! There's a white shimmer at the end of the couch. It slowly takes the form of my little girl. "You're gonna be okay dad." She says smiling and walking over. I force a smile. "What's... How's it going?" She laughs. "You're funny, daddy." It's so amazing when I get moments like this where I get to see her. "I'm gonna bet Mom's gonna be asking you a million questions when you wake up." She says, crossing her arms. "Wait.. I'm asleep?" She nods. "In the hospital." I must have fallen unconscious. I don't remember falling unconscious. "I love your opener." She says, sitting on the floor beside the couch. "She reminds me so much of you." I say, staring at the ceiling. "Hey dad..." "Yeah?" I ask turning to look at her. "Tell Mom not to worry. I'm okay. Tell her not to be upset. I hate seeing her cry over me." I force a worried smile. "Easier said than done, baby girl. But I'll try." She smiles. Then everything gets dark.
*He wakes up*
Instantly Sierra hugs me crying. "I thought I lost you." She whispers. I hug her back. "I'm not goin' nowhere baby." I whisper. "How's your leg? Does it hurt?" I shake my head. "Baby you saved my life." I say laying back down. "I'm gonna get your doctor." I nod tiredly. She leaves and I look out the window, imagining my life different. My life without that angel girl walking into it. I go back to sleep, grateful to have them in my life.
