Jason's pov
Everyone was a little upset about what happened. I just want everything to go back to normal. I went to check on Sierra when I saw Miranda with Sierra's phone. "Uh kiddo, what're ya doing?" She holds up a finger meaning be quiet. Then she continues talking on the phone. I rest my hands on my hips. She sets the phone down. "Who was that?" "My boss. She's mad I didn't bring coffee to the meeting." "Huh? What are you talking about?" I gape. She pulls out a fake toy laptop and types on it. Ok? I am so confused right now. "It's just a game daddy." I take Sierra's phone back to her. She was laying down but not asleep. "Hey honey." "I'm sorry about what happened." "Why are you sorry? You had no control over that." I say laying beside her and hugging her. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." "Baby stop."
*A few weeks later*
I was grilling some burgers for the kids, once again trying to normalize things. Sierra was slowly coming back around thank goodness. Theo was playing soccer with his sisters. It felt good to see them getting along so well. Sierra smiled, watching them. "We're gonna be fine." I say, hugging her.
