Jason's pov
"I can't believe we're having twins." I whisper. "Hey Jason, I wonder if twins ever realize one of them wasn't planned?" Sierra asks, wrapping her arms around my arm while we were laying in bed. I can't help but laugh. "Technically they're both unplanned." "Oh yeah." I put a hand on her belly. "I can't wait to hold these babies." "Hey Jason.... I've got something I should tell you." "Like what?" "A while back... I... Went to the cemetery.. And.. And I heard a voice that said you're gonna be a mom." Wow. "I know what you're thinking." I say, hugging her. "It was Miranda. I heard her voice clear as day!" "I believe you Si. I've seen and heard stuff too. Onstage when I froze up, it wasn't lightheadedness, I saw her onstage beside me.... Holding a baby." She sits up, shocked and shaken. "Y-You did?" "I didn't wanna tell you cause I didn't want to upset you." "I'm worried Jason." "About what?" "I don't think.... She's at peace." "Sierra we don't know how Amy of it works." I say, sitting up quickly. "We should find out!" "We can't find out." She sighs. "I'm just so worried about her." "Baby there's nothing you can do for her." "B-But I'm her mother! I have to!" I sigh. "Just come here." I say pulling her back down beside me. I can tell she's trying not to cry.
*a few days later*
I was working on the nursery with DeeJay, Tyler, and Luke. Sierra walked in. "Baby you can't be in here. The paint fumes." "Oh... Oh yeah. I forgot." I take her back out. "Si, are you okay?" I ask worried. "I'm fine." "You don't look fine." I hold her hands. "I'm fine... I'm just upset." Oh. I hug her. "I love you." "I love you too." I go back to the nursery and the guys ask what's up. I tell them as much as I can. Other than the paranormal stuff. I know they won't believe me. "Poor Sierra." DeeJay says. "Yeah. Grief sucks." Luke says, looking at the floor. He knows exactly what it feels like after losing his siblings. "I wish I knew what to do." I murmur worried as I hang up a mobile over one crib. "I've got one idea in mind, I just don't know how she's going to take it." I look at the pink colored wall. "I wanna name our daughter Kimberly." "Whoa." DeeJay says. "What is it?" Luke asks. "It was... Miranda's middle name." I say nervous. "Do you think she'd like it?" "I think you should talk to her long before hand." I nod. "Already planned on it." "Any ideas for the boy?" I smile. "I was thinkin' Theo. After my granddad." "Nice." Tyler says smiling.
*a few days later*
I cover her eyes and open the door. "OK Si, open your eyes." I say moving my hands. "Oh Jason! It's beautiful. I love-" She freezes midsentence seeing the names on the wall. "I mean... If ya don't like them... We can change the names." I say, worried. "I love the names." She says, walking over to our daughter's side of the room. She shakily touches the letters. She starts to cry. I hug her. "I'm sorry Si. I thought it'd make you happy." "It did. I am!" She says quickly. "I'm... I'm just.... I miss her so much." I rest a hand on her stomach. "Everything will be okay, honey. I promise." We walk downstairs.
Sierra's pov
He pulls a cupcake out of the fridge. "What's this for?" I gasp confused. He sits me down at the table and sets the cupcake in front of me. He puts a candle in it and lights it then sits beside me, holding my hand. "This... This is the day we first met. Make a wish, Si." Instant tears fill my eyes. He wraps me in a hug. "If it wasn't for the make a wish foundation, we never would've met." I whisper into his shoulder. We sat there for hours just holding each other and crying, until the candle burned out completely. "You're such a good father, Jason." He smiles. "And you're the best mother ever." We share a kiss. "I love you." "I love you too, Si."
