Sierra's pov
The kids went to the zoo with Jason's mom. I was reading when I heard Jason say, "I need to tell you something." I turned around on the couch, confused by the worry in his voice. "Ok. What's up?" I ask, closing my book. He sits beside me on the couch. "I.... I'm not sure how to explain or if you'll even believe me..." He falls silent, conflicted. "Jason, what is it? You can tell me anything." I say, putting a hand on his hand. He sighs. "Si, do you believe in reincarnation?" I'm taken aback by the question. "I... I mean... I don't know. I've never really thought about it." "Ok well you know how those random times, we sometimes see Miranda?" My breath catches. I nod. They're rare but I love every second. "The other day.... I saw her.... And she.... She said she's coming back." My eyes go wide. "Coming.... Coming back. What.... Wh-What do you mean?" I choke out feeling hot tears prick at the corner of my eyes.
Jason's pov
I quickly pull her into a hug. Her shaking hands gripping tight to my shirt. "I'm sorry I upset you talking about this but... I had to tell you." "But Jase what do you mean?" She whimpers, her face buried in my flannel shirt. I explain everything Miranda told me. "We don't tell anyone. They probably won't believe us." She says. I nod. "But Sierra, your.... Our daughter is coming home." She smile through the steady tears. "I can't wait." I smile. "I didn't know if you would believe me." "I love you." She whispers. "I will always love you baby girl." I say hugging her again. "Always."
