Jason's pov

Michelle had been talking a heck of alot of physical therapy. She wants to be able to walk again. And she wants to be able to walk down the aisle. I'm here to support her. "It hurts so bad." She says rubbing her legs. I hold my arm out. "Here let me lead you." I say. She looks at me scared hen reluctantly wraps her hands around my arm. She struggles to stand but eventually does it. "Ok take small steps." The physical therapist says. She takes a few steps then falls into my arms breathing hard. "You took some steps today Mitchy." She smiles, close to tears. "Thanks so much for your help." She says hugging me. "Your dad is so proud of you." "That's all I want."

*A few days later*

Michelle came over. I was watching over Miranda while Sierra went back to school shopping with Kim and Theo. "My dad is gonna be there." She says, forcing a smile. "He's proud even if you can't walk down the aisle." "I will walk down the aisle." I smile. "I know you will." Mitchy!" My little girl says. I was sitting on the floor and she was trying to walk herself. She's almost able to do it without holding on. "She was a bit of a late bloomer." I say smiling. Actually, Sierra told me her Miranda before she was reincarnated, she was a late walker too. She was slow in development just like this time around. "Moosic." She says, pointing to Mitchie. "Pway." I smile. "I think she wants you to play something." She smiles too. "Oh me oh my oh would ya look at Mrs. Ohio! She's a runnin' around with the ragtop down. She says I wanna do right but not right now. Oh I know all about it, so you don't have to shout it. But Mama's gonna straighten it out somehow." Just then the family gets home. "Mommy!" Miranda shouts, letting go of the table and stumbling over. My loving wife scoops her up. "Oh my baby look at you!" I smile. She's so amazing. I stand up. "Michelle, come on and try to walk. Practice can only help you more." She looks scared. "Don't worry. You've got a whole team to back you up." "Mitchy, Mitchy, Mitchy!" My 4 year old shouts. I smile and the rest of the family joins in. She struggles to a standing position, shaking slightly. I hold my hand out. "Come on hun, you can do it. Walk to me." Miranda wraps her hands around my leg. I smile and pat her head. "You're a good girl." Michelle slowly makes her way over and everyone cheers.

*A few months later*

I walk that confident young woman down the aisle. "Thanks so much." She says, hugging me. "You did amazing, Michelle." After the very beautiful ceremony, I wave goodbye to my lifelong friend as she goes to her honeymoon. When she gets back though, music central! We're totally touring together!

*A few years later*

We were filling out information for Miranda to start school. "This is frustrating." I mumble. She laughs. "We got it, Jase." Sierra says, kissing me. I smile. I love this girl to death. "Baby, you're perfect. And you picked a dumb ol redneck like me." "I'd pick you over anybody any day." I'm so lucky to have her. "She's got to get her shots at the hospital too." I say, thinking out loud. "Noooo!" I hear a wail behind me. I turn around beyond confused. "No!! No daddy!!" She yells shaking her head. "I hate the hosibill!" I love her kid talk. "You hate what?" I ask. "The shot place!" She cries, tears in her eyes. I turn my chair around. "Why baby?" "Too much. I don't wanna go!" I lock eyes with Sierra worried. Maybe this is  another memory. She remembered how bad it was her being in the hospital with cancer. "Sweet girl it'll be alright. It'll only hurt for a second and then mommy and daddy will take you for ice cream." "I'm scared daddy." I scoop her up. "Mama and Daddy would never do anything to hurt you, Miranda, I promise. We'll be in and out in no time." She looks away. "You'll go?" She sighs and nods. "But I won't like it." "I know, baby." I say kissing her head. "It'll be over before you know it then you'll go to school and make new friends. It'll be so much fun." Sierra smiles with a twinge of worry in her eyes. "She's alright, Si."  I whisper, putting my hand over hers. She forces a smile and hugs me. "I love you, Jay." "I love ya too babe."
