Sierra's pov
I was listening to Jason perform sidestage. He had just finished night train and the lights got a little brighter. "I gotta say throughout my job, entertainin' y'all.... I've met a lot of great people. I've met the king of Country. I've met Alabama, just to name the legends." Where's he going with this." He takes off his guitar. "But I also met a few special folks. I met my wife and daughter through this career." "Oh man." I Shakily gasp, covering my mouth with my hand. "I wouldn't be the same man without them. I also wanna welcome a very special guest tonight. My Aldean Army give it up for Michelle Angela Patterson!" Wow. Seeing that thirteen year old struggle to walk out there, brought back all the memories I've tried to fight! I shakily walk back to the bus, not able to take it.

"Come on, sweetheart. Let's rock." I say handing her a mic.
*a few weeks later*
I had just finished the tour and checked in with Brian, Michelle's dad to see how she was doing. I was really happy to hear that she was doing better. Not outta the woods yet but doing better. Seeing a child with cancer, especially a girl, really gets to me. But I wanna do the best for my fans. I worriedly get a copy of my newest CD, not yet released and drive to the hospital in Charleston where she's at. The receptionist smiles kindly and shows me her room. "She's been singin' your music the last three hours. You're a good man." I force a smile. "Thanks ma'am." I get to her room and the receptionist wasn't kidding. She was singing wheels rollin'. I smile and knock on her door. A woman I don't know answers. "Who are you?" She asks. Um... I guess Brian didn't tell her about me. Then again Michelle did say they don't get along. I introduce myself and she invites me in. "Hey Michelle how're you doin', sweetheart?" She smiles. "Doc says I'm doing better." "That's what your daddy told me too." I hand her the CD. "It hasn't even been released to the public yet." "Ooh! I get first dibs?" I smile and nod. "Tell me what ya think of it when ya listen to it." My phone rings. "Oh I'll be right back." I walk out into the hallway. It's Mike. "Hey man." I say leaning on the wall. "How's she doing?" "Better. The doctor says so anyway." "Jase how are you and Sierra? I know this stuff is hard on you." I glance back in the direction of her room. "It's... Pretty hard for me, man." Brian walks down the hall with a doctor. They were talking before reaching her room. "I'm sorry, Mr. Patterson but if she somehow gets into remission, your daughter will never walk again." My eyes go wide. "I.. I'm gonna have to call ya back later bro." I get off the phone and walk to Brian. "Hey man." He's trying not to cry. "Sh-She wants to be a singer! She can't do that in a wheelchair." He gasps in a whisper. "Hey yes she can! It's about the voice not the body. Trust me." "Have you ever seen a paraplegic country singer?" I force a worried smile. "There's a first time for everything." He sighs and reluctantly walks in. "Daddy!" Michelle cries. Melissa sees how worried he is. I pull her aside and tell her what the doctor said. "My poor baby!" I hug the poor girl, worrying even more about Sierra. Is she doing okay? I better check on her. I call her.
3rd person pov
While the expectant mother admires her talented husband's work on the nursery, she feels lightheaded and dizzy. She puts a hand on the wall to steady herself. "What's going on?" She mumbles falling unconscious, luckily landing on her back and not injuring Kim and Theo in any way.
Jason's pov
Why do I have a bad feeling. I nervously pace the hallway, calling her a third time. Then I try the house phone. No answer from either! "OK, my instincts are tellin' me something is wrong." I bid my farewells and run to my truck, driving like a bat outta hell. "Please be okay, Si." I whisper worried.
