Jason's pov
Sierra still hadn't moved or talked and it was terrifying. I couldn't get through to her no matter how hard I tried. Even Theo was was worried. "Why is she like this?" Kim asks, almost in tears. "I don't know." I say, scared. I made her stand up and we took her home. I sat her on the couch. "Baby please ya gotta snap out of it." I say holding her hand, mine shaking. "We're home. See? We're home!" Miranda and Kim were crying. Theo had vanished to his room. I nervously walk upstairs. "Hey kiddo, wanna talk?" I ask, knocking on the door. No response. I open it worried. He was crying, sitting on the floor in front of his bed. "I'm sorry dad. I'm so sorry!" He whimpers. I sit beside him and wrap an arm around him. He kept mumbling I'm sorry while crying. "I broke mom." He whispers. "She'll be okay. I'm sure of it. We just gotta figure out how to snap her out of it. And we can do it if we, the men of the house put our heads together." I say, tapping my head. He sighs, burying his face in his knees. "I'm just a failure. I'll mess it all up again!" "Everyone is a failure until they succeed. And ya can't succeed if ya give up. This is mom we're talking about! You ain't givin' up on your mother are ya? I need ya, son. I can't do this without ya." "Yes you can. I'm just a problem child." I sigh and hug him. "Theo, ya messed up. We all do from time to time. But it's high time, ya help fix the issue." He stays quiet, his head still on his knees. I stand up with a sigh. "Theodore William Aldean, stand your ass up this instant and help me!!" I shout, making him jump and stare up at me caught off guard.I hold out a hand. He mumbles another I'm sorry as tears well up in his eyes. "Be a man, boy. Stand up and help fix your family!" I finally get him to his feet and we walk out there. The girls still don't know what to do and Sierra is still stone cold still, dead to the world. I sit beside her, holding her hand. "Si, you can wake up now! This nightmare will be over as soon as ya snap out of it!" "Mommy, wake up! You know I can't sleep without my bedtime story!" Miranda gasps. "Hey who's gonna help me pick out a dress for prom next month?" Kim asks, sitting on the floor in front of her. Theo was still crying. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, mama." He shakily whispers. Miranda crawls into Sierra's lap and lays her head on her chest. She wraps her arms around her neck. "M-My.... M-M-My b-baby." My eyes go wide in surprise. "Honey?" "D-D-Dead. She's dead. I'm sorry I couldn't-" "Baby she's not dead. She's right in front of you." My sweet little angel sets her hands on her mother's cheeks. "Mama, I'm right here. Please wake up. I'll make ya pancakes. I promise I'll never fight with you again!" Theo sits beside her. "Please wake up mama, I'm sorry. I love you. Please... Please wake up." He gasps, crying and hugging her. "Th-Theo?" "Mom!" He gasps, looking at her surprised. She then sees Miranda in her lap and looks confused. "G-Guys what's.... Going on?" I force a smile and hug her tight as everyone joins in for a group hug. "You're back." Kim whispers. "Where'd I go?" She asks confused. "To the stars, baby. To the stars."
