say hello to the internet phenomenon

we are the minority in our heads and the majority in our lives. we are the ones people argue about, whether we are good or bad, problematic or perfect. we are appropriating and appreciating and approving of absolutely everything and absolutely nothing.

we are the ones you hate, the ones that pick out every insecurity that you have and emphasize it and rip you to shreds. we are the ones that make you want to scream with our incessant bickering and banter, we are the ones that never get your points and keep making our own. we are the ones that you want to shake back and forth by the shoulders and scream why don't you understand, and that's what makes us so great, because we will never understand.

we are the ones you love, the ones that are willing to build you up until your fingertips graze the clouds. we are the ones that make you laugh and cry with our inside jokes and heartfelt comments, we are the ones that listen to everything you say and fight alongside you when it feels necessary. we are the ones that you want to hold onto by the coattails and follow us wherever we go, and that's what makes us so great, because you want to meet us in real life even though we've never seen each other's faces.

tell us to stop.

make us.

we'll come back stronger than ever before.

just letting you know, we love you and care about you.

just letting you know, everything you love and care about is worthless.

just letting you know, you are worthless and everything you think and believe is the worst thing we've ever heard in our lives.

just letting you know, nothing you have ever done will ever matter.

plead for us to go away.

beg for it.

we're never leaving.

and even if we do, there will be millions like us, with hair like us and clothes like us, hopes and dreams like us, faces like us twisted in the same stupid beautiful sick fantastic little grinning smirks that you've grown so accustomed to blocking out, except for now it's coming for you and not everyone else, and there's nobody left to save you.

all you can do is hold your tongue, because you love us.

just letting you know, it'd be better if you weren't alive.

just letting you know, the world is a worse place with you in it.

just letting you know, you are one of the most amazing people we have ever seen in our lives.

run from our reach.

hide away.

you'll come back again, just you wait.

all you can do is hope we grow up someday, because you care about us.

after all, we're only kids.

this is child's play.
