i like to wonder if you think i'm witty, if you think i'm funny when i make horrible puns and try my best to attempt at wordplay, i am no robin williams (not in mentality nor in comedy) but i enjoy a comedy show every now and again, i wonder but i do not expect anything, and i try solely because i wish for your happiness.

i like to wonder what you think of my writing, if you think it's wonderful or melancholy or relatable or none of the above, if i'm too pretentious for your taste or perhaps to you i speak solely in layman's terms, i am no shakespeare nor am i keats but i like to write just to write every now and again, i wonder but i do not expect anything, and i try solely because i wish for your happiness.

i like to wonder if my words have any effect on you, if all the words i spit out day after day are nothing more than lengthy droning or if you take them to heart and apply them into your new freeverse mentality, i am no jung but i believe in morals and i dream every now and again, i wonder but i do not expect anything, and i try solely because i wish for your happiness.

i like to wonder what it would be like if i had never met you, if i would be better or worse, alone or surrounded, more dramatic or stoic, every possible combination i could ever imagine, i am no nietzche but i also think in the terms of "what doesn't kill you must make you stronger" every now and again, i wonder but i do not expect anything, and i try solely because i wish for your happiness.

i like to wonder if in this big, beautiful universe, if anything i do matters, if anything any of us do truly has an impact, like choosing one cereal over another on one particular tuesday, if any of it could be scientifically measured and scrutinized infinitely, if you and i and our interactions together are the result of destiny or fate or interconnected timelines or whatever else there could be, would be, if in my corner of the universe, i'm making a difference, i am no leader but i believe in supporting others as we walk toward the future hand in hand, i wonder, but i do not expect anything.
