the big mood is long boy
as he steps off the bus
his hair is longer, he's not
the big mood is sandwich boy

thoughtless, he attended thoughtfully
the big mood is my pretty roommate
waving through the bus
beauty hurts, she falls from laughter
ha! ha! ha ha! such fun
the big mood today is happy

and for a vowel and a consonant
i paid my happy dues
and took up happy residence
in a happy un-lonesome house
the big mood is actress supreme
she's something for prom
if there was a word for terrified and elated
the big mood is my sandwich
not a boy nor a man
just happy and inanimately scrumptious
the big mood is each of them
minus the sandwich, reminding me
it's lit, fam
take those memories you had of family
and set them ablaze
the ash is not an act of defiance
instead, a memory
the big mood today is happy
but deeper.
