Chapter 55

Maui's POV

Three days later... The last night...

  It's hard to believe that Mo and I are leaving in the morning. I'm honestly a bit sad about it. These past few days have been great. Hell, these past two weeks have been absolutely amazing. I really wish they didn't have to come to an end. Classes start back up on Monday which depresses Mo and I. The only thing to look forward to tomorrow is that we're meeting up with Ariel and Jack for supper tomorrow evening. Mo and I have missed them a lot these past couple of weeks despite enjoying all of the time that we've spent together. We'll reunite as a group tomorrow while Mo has girl time with Ariel on Sunday and I have bro time with Jack on Sunday. 

  Mo and I are currently lying in bed half naked, not jumping each others' bones but simply admiring the beauty of each other, especially hers. Her body is just perfect. She's got the most amazing curves and adorable features. She doesn't think so but I'll eventually get her to see it one day. "Mo you're so beautiful. I can't wait until the day we finally get to do it. It's going to be amazing." Mo smiles and blushes, looking away shyly. "T-Thank you and me too Maui." I gently move her from the spot next to me right into my arms. Her body is cold so I figured that I've help give her some warmth with our body contact. Well that and I just love holding her in my arms. It makes her feel safe and me happy. "Maui, we do have to head back tomorrow?", she asks me in a sad tone of voice. I sigh. "Sadly we do. Classes start up again on Monday." She sighs back. "Don't remind me. I just barely survived last semester. The only bright side is that we'll have some new classes which will make things more interesting." 

  I nod in agreement. "I agree. I'm looking forward to not having to take most of my classes from last semester. The ones not related to my major were absolutely dreadful." "Well Maui, at least we get to see Ariel and Jack tomorrow." My frown shifts into a smile. "Yeah that we do. I'm looking forward to it. I've missed them." "Me too." Mo and I stay in our warm and tangled embrace talking until we fall asleep, which is about two hours later. 

The next morning...

  Mo and I pack our things, pack up our things into my car, return the keys and check out, and head out on the road. Both of us are sad to go, but we're less sad than we were last night because we've realized that we have a lot of happy memories to reflect on and tell our friends about over dinner tonight. Plus this definitely isn't Mo and I's last trip. I'm going to make sure that we have plenty more in the future. "Hey Maui?" I glance at her out of the corner of my eye, keeping a majority of my focus on driving. "Yes princess?" She giggles. "I'm not a princess." I chuckle. "You are too and I'll continue to remind you of it each and everyday. Anyways, what's up?" She puts a hand on my knee, rubbing it gently. "I really did have an amazing time on this trip. I'd love to go away like this again. I was thinking we could go on a big trip during spring break in March. How does that sound?"

  A spring break getaway with Mo sounds perfect. "That sounds perfect. Where should we go?" She shrugs. "I don't know to be honest. I'd love to go to the beach somewhere. I'd give anything to go to the beach again. It's been way too long." An idea suddenly pops into my head. We should to go Montonui for our spring break getaway. I'm going to surprise her with a trip there. Of course we have to take quite a bit of transportation to get there, but it's worth every penny. I'm going to talk to her parents about it when we get settled. I grin from ear to ear. "The beach it is princess. We'll decide on the location as it gets closer." Mo squeals "YAAAAAAYYYY!!!", super loudly in my ears, almost giving me a heart attack at the wheel. "Mo I love you, but you shouldn't squeal like that when I'm at the wheel. You almost gave me a heart attack."

  She dramatically fake gasps and clutches her heart dramatically. "I'm sorry Maui. I didn't mean to cause to send you into such a state. My deepest apologies." I roll my eyes at her. "You're such a diva sometimes Mo." She returns my gesture. "Oh please. We both know the diva in this relationship is you Maui. You freak out if so much as someone touches your knee pads." I pat my hands up in surrender for five seconds before putting them back onto the wheel. "Fine, you caught me. The great Maui can sometimes to be a diva, though the great Moana can be from time to time as well. Can we agree on that?" She pecks me on the cheek. "I suppose we can agree to that." I smile and quickly touch my cheek with one hand. I love it when she gives me surprise kisses. 

That evening...

   We have dinner with Ariel and Jack in the dining hall, which just reopened again last night for the students coming back from winter break. We've been apart from them for two weeks, but it feels like it's been so much longer. It takes the four of us hours to catch each other up on everything that happened over winter break. If winter break was this eventful, I can only imagine how eventful spring break will be, especially with my surprise for Mo. I'll have to work my ass off to get the money for it as will her parents, but if it works out, Mo's going to be so happy.
