Chapter 49 

Maui's POV

The next day...

  Jack ended up getting back even later than I did last night so I already asleep when he came back, though the outcome of his first time with Ariel has been on my mind all night. I'm dying to know how it went for them. I hope he tells me when he wakes up. I'm literally going to chill in the dorm room until he does. I also really want to tell him about my amazing date with Mo last night. 

An hour later...

 Jack finally starts to wake up. He groans and adjusts his eyes to the bright sunlight coming through the window. "Maui, what time is it?" I smirk at him. "It's only one in the afternoon. Rise and shine." He rolls his eyes at me but slowly gets up. "How was sex last night?" Jack's eyes bug out of his head and his face turns a crimson shade of red. Aw that's cute. My bro is embarrassed. Now he knows how I feel when we does the same to me. "Maui, it was absolutely amazing. Not to be too graphic, but Ariel wore this super sexy lingere from Victoria's Secret or some other girly store at the mall. She smelled like roses and had the sexual grace of a goddess. It was both of our first times' so it wasn't super awkward for us. We were able to learn together rather than one of us having to instruct the other through everything. Neither of us is into the super dirty stuff like blowjobs. We just stick to basic sex. Well the sex itself wasn't basic but you know what I mean right?"

  I nod. "I know what you mean." I put a hand on his shoulder. "I'm happy that it went well for the two of you." Jack gives me a warm smile. "How was your three month anniversary date with Mo?" I smile back at him. "Jack it was beyond amazing. Every date with her just seems to get better and better. I've been in love with that girl since we were kids, though I only came to terms with it at the end of high school. I love her so much. I'm going to marry her someday." Jack looks at me with a mix of awe, adoration, and a touch of sadness. "Maui, I've never seen two people more in love with that two of you. I know Ariel loves me and vice versa, but our love will never be as deep as you and Mo's is for each other." I smile and then frown at that. "Jack, you shouldn't compared Mo and I's relationship to yours. You and Ariel haven't known each other as long as Mo and I have. The love you two have for each other is clearly there, it just needs time to fully blossom is all." 

  "You really think so Maui?" I pull him in for a bro hug. "I know so." We hug for a couple minutes before pulling apart. "Do you have class today?" Jack nods. "Yeah I have two classes, though my first one isn't for two hours. What about you?" "I have one class but it's not for another three hours. I'm starved. Want to go eat and hang out for a bit?" Jack nods. "Let's do it." The two of us quickly freshen up, shower, get dressed, and head to the dining hall to eat lunch. We get to the dining hall in good time and eat everything in sight (as usual). We normally text the girls to invite them to eat as group, but Jack and I wanted a little bit of bro time. I think the girls feel the same way because we have yet to hear from them today. I'm sure we'll either see and/or hear from them later. 

That evening...

 Mo and I both had my second and last class of the day together so we decided to have a homework/study date afterwards. Jack is doing the same with Ariel in a class that they happen to share together. While I prefer our regular dates, any date in which I spend time with Mo is a good date in my eyes. We're both swamped with assignments and having each other in case we need help is a plus. Being able to talk while we work also makes having to do the dreadful assignments a lot less boring. I love listening to Mo talk about anything and everything. Her talking voice is so lovely. I could listen to her speak with hours on end and I wouldn't get sick of hearing it. I also love her singing voice too. Sometimes she'll pick up her uke, strum it delicately, and sing a few songs to me. It melts my heart each and every time. 

A few hours later...

We decide to take a break and go out for drinks. By drinks, I mean hot tea. We decide to walk down to the cafe at the bottom of the hill despite it being cold as hell out. Mo treats us both to the hot teas. I tried to object to her doing so, but she said it was the least she could do after the bill we wracked up at Ciao Bellisma last night. The bill eighty dollars. I've never had an eighty dollar meal in my life. The most expensive meal that I have once in a blue moon is at Olive Garden and it's fifteen dollars. It's one of those tour of Italy dishes, though I can't remember exactly which one. I think there are three of them, who knows. 

  When we get our drinks, we pick a nice corner table to sit at and enjoy them. "Mo, I'm glad we decided to do this despite it being super cold and late. We've been working so hard for hours. I can't go longer than three, four hours max without taking a break." Mo nods in agreement. "Same here Maui. My brain is already fried." A chuckle slips out of my mouth. "Same here. I can't think straight at all. How much work do you have left to do?" She runs a hand through her hair and sighs. "At least another two hours worth. What about you?" I sigh back. "Same here. The work never ends." She snorts adorably. "Yeah no kidding." 

  We drink our hot tea slowly, get free refills, drink those, and head back to my dorm to finish up the rest of our work for the night. By the time we're done, we both collapse of exhaustion on my bed. What a day, what a life.
