It's Party Time

Chapter 17

Tamatoa's POV

A few days later...

I'm hosting a huge campus party tonight in the hopes to impress Moana. I've ran into her a couple of times this week and she mentioned possibly coming to it. I hope she does. I really want to show her how to have a good time. The poor girl is so tense all the time. I bet that piece of shit Maui causes her to be the way. I mean he gives everyone on the team besides his wimpy pal Jack a hard time, I bet she gets it even worse. Well don't worry Moana, I will save you sweetheart! Gaston's even willing to help me woo her. In return, I promised to help him do the same for Ariel. These two girls are quite the gems and they belong to us, not the guys that they're currently with.

 That night...

The crowd begins to pour into my party and I'm quite pleased to see Moana show up, though my happiness fades quickly when Maui is close behind her. FUCK. Why must the universe spite me like this? No there's no way in hell that I'm going to be able to get near her... unless. No I promised myself that I wouldn't resort to doing this again... but desperate times call for desperate measures. I motion with my eyes to Gaston for him to spike a drink and hand it to her. He winks and does exactly as I hoped he would. Thank the heavens for Gaston. He's the only one I can count on to get the job done. I watch the scene play out from upstairs. Moana's hesitant to take the drink but does so anyway, though Maui whispers something in her ear that I can't quite make out, making her put down the drink. DAMN IT MAUI! YOU'RE FUCKING RUINING THIS FOR ME!

I steadily make my way down the stairs and make my way over to them. Maui spots me first and gives me a death stare. He then puts Mo behind him protectively. "We only came to this party to confirm what a fucking creep you are and that your intentions aren't good in the slightest. Sadly to say, we're right." I hiss at him. "Why don't you let your girlfriend decide whether or not she wants to stay? She has a mind and a mouth, let her use them." Mo looks at me in fear and my heart breaks slightly. Why am I feeling bad about my actions? The great Tamatoa isn't supposed to have FEELINGS. She steps forward and looks up at me since I'm quite taller than her. "T-Tamatoa, I'm going to say this as nicely as I possibly can. You're not a nice person. You drug raped my best friend and damaged her. I wouldn't ever associate a person who harms my best friend the way that you did. I feel sorry for you. I'm sorry that you ended up this way, but I won't allow myself to become your next victim."

With that being said, she turns on her heel and leaves. Maui looks from her to me and back to her in shock before following her out. Surprisingly, I don't end up chasing after them because I too am stunned by what Moana just said to me. No one's ever told me the truth so bluntly before. Most people also cower in my presence but not her. Sure she gets uncomfortable at time, but she always says what's on her mind. I have to give her credit for that. That girl indeed does have a mind and voice of her own. Maybe that's why I'm so fascinated with her. She's different from other girls. I guess I'm going to have to change my ways a bit if I have even the slightest chance of winning her over.
