Girls Day/ Bros Day 

Chapter 56

Moana's POV 

The next day...

  Ariel and I are having a girl day today and Maui and Jack are having a guys day today. We love hanging out as a group, but like to hang out separately from time to time. It's only healthy to have a break from our boyfriends once in awhile. Girls can't always be true girls when they cling onto their boyfriends twenty four seven. Anyways, Ariel and I are having a spa day, something both of us haven't done in so long. There's a spa fifteen minutes away from campus that's super affordable. After our spa session, we're going to grab some food at McDonalds. "Ariel, I'm glad we're doing this. We deserve this." Ariel smiles. "We sure do deserve it." In case you wondering, I'm at the wheel for a change. Whenever Maui and I go out, he likes to drive most of the time. As nice as it is having him drive us places, I like to drive too. Driving is a privilege and I like to do it sometimes as well. 

  We get to the spa in fifteen minutes and check ourselves in. We have a fifteen minute wait before we can be seen. That's not bad at all. Ariel and I sit down on a comfy sofa and talk endlessly, making the fifteen minutes fly by super fast. Before we know it, we're being led into a classy room, being prepped for massages. I smile at my massage therapist, who's a middle aged woman named Betty. "I haven't had a massage in so long. This is going to be great." Betty gives me a warm smile. "It's no problem dear. My dear friend and co-massage therapist Theresa are going to give you girls the best massage you've both ever had in your life." Ariel giggles. "I bet it will be." Betty grins. "Now girls, just lie down and relax. Leave the hard work up to us." We nod and get ourselves into the proper position, which is lying face down on our stomachs, placing our heads into the headrests. 

  Betty and Theresa begin giving us massages and Betty sure was right, these are the best massages that Ariel and I have ever received. No wonder why this place does such good business. Between the great staff, the affordable prices, and the positive atmosphere, it's the spa to go to. I'll be sure to tell my mom all about it next time we talk. I bet she'd love to have a girls day here with me sometime.

  After we're done getting massages, we also get some waxing done, pedicures, manicures, and our hair done. By the time our spa session, Ariel and I look fabulous. I have super low esteem but this is one of the few times that I truly feel beautiful. My hair has never looked better. I now have blonde highlights and layers in my hair while Ariel decided to chop off three inches of her super long hair, though it's still pretty long. "Ariel, we look so good!" She squeals in response. "I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW!" I giggle at our excitement while motioning her over to the counter so we can pay for everything. The total cost of everything we had done only cost us thirty dollars a piece. That's a freaking bargain at a spa. Most spas would charge one to two hundred dollars easy a piece for everything that we had done. Being pleased with our service today, I leave a five dollar tip for them. They deserve it. 

  Ariel and I get back in my car and drive to McDonalds. Despite all the fun we had at the spa, we both started experiencing hunger pains about an hour ago. We need to eat and pronto. Luckily, McDonalds is only ten minutes away. Hooray!

Maui's POV

Jack and I are having an awesome bro day. We've been playing video games all day and even ordered in a pizza so that way we didn't have to leave our dorm to get food. Both of us were too lazy to go all the way to the dining hall on the other side of the campus. Plus when we go to the dining hall to eat, we have to deal with so many people. Like who wants to deal with people ALL THE TIME? I know I don't. "Hey Jack?" He looks at me curiously. "Yes Maui?" I smile genuinely at him. "I've had a good time with you today man. I've missed this. We need to do this at least a couple times a month. I love the girls dearly, but I feel like we don't get to geek out over video games and such enough." Jack laughs. "No kidding, but I feel the same way man. Today's been great." 

  We spend a couple more hours playing video games and talking before calling it quits for the night because we both have to shower, get ready for bed, and go to bed for the night. We have class bright and early in the morning. Oh joy, oh bliss, oh how I haven't really missed this.
