After their second fundraiser for their school, the Grand Ridge High School football players and cheerleaders were forced to get out of the way of a head on collision in the middle of the road just up the street from where they had a fun night.
Andrew was sitting on the curb up the street with Clover sitting in his lap while Stephen was next to him sitting down. Ethan and Jose were standing behind them and Jacob next to them. All of them watched as firefighters used the jaws of life to open up Diego's mom's car.
Half of the paramedics were aiding to the man in the other car while the other half waited for the firefighters to create a way to get to Diego and Ricky who were trapped inside the car. The moment the firefighters got a way by taking off the passenger's door and taking off where the windshield was suppose to be, they stepped to the side and let the paramedics get to them.
What made everyone was watching the scene's heart stop was them noticing paramedics laying a white sheet over the man who was in the other car as he laid in a pool of blood in the middle of the road. The bystanders fell silent as they watched the paramedics pull the two young boys of their car.
Andrew stood up making Clover stand with him. Stephen got up so he could get a better look, but none of them could see as paramedics rushed around them. They ripped their shirts off to aid to their cuts. They put neck braces on them to stabilize their necks, backs, and heads. And soon both were in the back of two ambulances and being rushed to the local hospital to be taken care of.

Three hours later, at 10:30 at night, the six friends were in the familiar seats of the hospital waiting room. They had seen the familiar faces of Ricky and Diego's parents come into the hospital looking for their sons. None of the six even spoke a word as they sat there forced to listen to the news station talk about their friends.
This evening is ending with our following story of breaking news. One person is dead after a horrible crash near Grand Ridge High School. Two cars had what most are saying a head on collision. A major street is closed after the collision. Two passengers in one of the vehicles were rushed to the local hospital and their conditions are still to be informed.
No one knows who was at fault, but all of the passengers were wearing their seat belts. There may have been alcohol involved but that is still to be up for discussion at a later time. Both cars are registered out of Dallas, so the Dallas police are on the case.
Reporting live out from Dallas, have a good night.
None of the friends made a comment about the news story, but they all noticed a nurse in her pink and purple scrubs walking up to them. She gave them a gentle smile as she put her hands in front of her body.
"I'm sorry guys, but you gotta clear out the waiting room. You all can come back in the morning."
They all just nodded and got up to leave not wanting to be a hassle since it was late at night. The six friends went out the parking lot and figured out what they were going to do to get home. Ethan got in his car with Jose and Jacob. When Stephen and Andrew were going towards Stephen's mom's car, they saw Clover leaning against the exterior wall of the hospital with her phone to her ear.
"Need a ride?" Stephen asked.
Clover sighed as she pressed the off button on her phone. Leroy's phone was off and Clover knew she couldn't call her sister since she was fast asleep by now. She nodded softly as she followed them to the car and got in.

The following morning, like the nurse had told them, the six teenagers came back to the hospital and sat in the waiting room. All of them in very casual and comfortable clothing since they didn't know how long they were going to be there for.
