Right when 7:00 hit, Jacob was sitting in his living room waiting for his mom to drop him off at the school. Today was Monday which was the pancake breakfast and the car washes. The cheerleaders would serve pancakes all day in the cafeteria of the school while the football players were washing cars outside. Jacob was washing cars and they were told to get their early, at exactly 7am, but now Jacob was late.
"Mom! Hurry up!" Jacob called out from his spot on the couch. Suddenly, Jacob heard the clicks of heels on the ground before he saw his mom walking out of the back hallway of their condo in a white skin tight shirt, skinny jeans, and knee high black heels. Jacob's younger sister Melanie walking from behind their mom Nicole and went to the front door so they could leave.
Jacob scoffed as he got up. Since he was going to be in the heat all day, he was in a muscle shirt with the football team logo on it, shorts, and sneakers.
"Why're you all dressed up?" Jacob wondered, opening the front door and leading his family out.
Melanie scoffed. "Because your football coach'll be there. She's trying to make him jealous apparently."
"No!" Nicole protested. "It's because I'm the guidance counselor and I need to look good for the parents and people of the community."
Both of her children look back at her with unimpressed looks before turning back around and walking down stairs of their condo complex so they could leave.

After a quick car ride, Jacob arrived to the school where he saw some of the football players on the roads holding up signs while Clover and Manny were sitting at a small table on the sidewalk that lead from the parking lot to inside the school. The boys were waiting to wash cars in the parking lot while the cheerleaders were going to be serving pancakes in the cafeteria.
When Jacob got out the car, he saw his friends sitting in the parking lot waiting for cars to come around. Jacob leaned against a tree in the shade with Jose, Colby, and Stephen while Diego and Ethan were filling buckets with water.
"No cars yet?" Jacob asked, walking up to them.
"Nope." Jose sighed, looking around with his sunglasses on his eyes. "Nothing."
Colby stared off at the football players doing cartwheels on the side of the road and backflips to get cars attention. "How long do these usually last until we get some cars?"
Stephen scoffed. "A while. Usually one or two come around than it's nothing for a long time or it's cars back to back. No in between."
Jacob turned around quickly when he felt a presents behind him. He saw Ethan and Diego standing there with them.
"I texted Ricky last night and he said he'd let us wash his car if he could drive it." Diego sighed. "He said he'll try and get some people to drive up."
"Same with Andrew." Stephen mentioned. "He'll try and get the guys from the fields to let us wash their cars."
"Whoa!" Colby gasped out, looking at the car pulling up in the parking lot. "That's a sick car! Who's that?"
All the boys turned around to see a red 2016 BMW 4 series convertible with its top up. The boys watched as the car pulled up to the washing station before the driver got up and was greeted by a big hug and kiss by Clover. Two boys got out the backseat and spoke to Clover with smiles.
"Dante Rye." Jose answered. "Clover's boyfriend. Army fella who's parents spoil him for his attention."
Ethan walked off towards Dante's car and ran his hand across the hood. The other boys walked up behind Ethan and just watched him admire the car that he'd always love.
