Josh suddenly understood what had plagued his life for so long. He'd spent so much time considering happiness from a far, and so much time trying to gain it through people instead of himself.
Wishing he could've known this long ago josh sighed, but his sigh turned into a smile. A small smile he produced without realizing it. The kind of smile that comes when you fully understand something about yourself.
With that he knew Tyler would make it. He knew that if he could overcome than so could Tyler.Tyler:
Tyler felt no remorse as he broke free of the dark. There was no thought out apology on his lips, there were no fermented tears begging to be wept.Josh:
The confidence he felt wasn't something he had experienced often. He could feel it slipping and tripping down his throat like scalding black coffee in the morning. A painful awakening. A dose of the right drug to his dormant system shocking him awake.
