Tyler's face was slick with hot tears when he eventually lifted it from the safety of joshes black hoodie. His eyes drifted up the untidy stubble that covered joshes neck to his face, and was captured by his sorrowful eyes.
"Tyler, what happened?" His voice cracked slightly with concern.
"I-I... j-Jenna..." he croaked before devolving into tears once again. Tyler's sobs stabbed Josh with painful sadness. He pulled Tyler's trembling body even closer to him, whispering comforting phrases into his fluffy brown hair.
Instead of trying to get any more information out of him, josh began guiding him toward the airport exits, his arms still protectively slung around Tyler.
Josh helped Tyler into the car, then ran around the front and jumped into the drivers seat. The whole drive back to their tour bus the car was filled with thick silence , punctuated by the occasional choked out sob from them passenger seat. Josh drove with one hand, the other resting firmly on Tyler's thigh. They reached the bus after about an hour of constant driving on the highway.
"I'm going to grab some of your stuff, I think it would be better if you spent the night in a hotel. More comfortable and private you know." Josh spoke quietly to Tyler who nodded.
Josh ran into the bus. He grabbed Tyler's toiletries bag, and stuffed it into his duffle bag, then headed out.
On his way out of the door he yelled over his shoulder at a confused looking Mark,
"Tyler isn't feeling well so I'm going to get him a hotel room, I'll keep you updated."
Then In a flash he was back in the car and pulling back onto the highway.

Tyler couldn't stop crying. The last time he remembered crying like this was in the early morning hours of high school school nights. He had suffered from insomnia, but his mind had kept him awake as well, screaming at Tyler that he wasn't worth it. In the present time, he was absolutely and utterly upset. It was like the positive part of his brain had been removed and replaced by grey misty sadness. Josh kept glancing over at Tyler, his eyes heavy with sympathy. Tyler's thigh felt warm where Josh's large hand rested, the only bit of happy in the midst of his despair. What could he do without this man?
They reached the hotel and josh leaped out of the car and helped Tyler out.
They walked into the hotel, across the fancy marble floor, and up to the big front desk.
"One room please, we don't have a reservation." Josh stated impatiently to the young woman behind the desk.
She looked down at them, her eyes twinkling.
"One or two beds?" She questioned, winking.
Josh choked, red hot blush rising in his cheeks. He could tell Tyler had noticed him blushing, and was giving him a strange look. Josh cursed internally.
"Two please!" He said, his deep voice cracking awkwardly.
" oh, I thought you were... you know, together." Said the woman, grossly exaggerating "together".
"No." Said josh, Glancing at Tyler, who was staring at him from under his thick eyelashes. Josh flushed again.
Filled with embarrassment he grabbed the key from the woman's claw like fingernails, and hurried over to the elevator, Tyler in tow.

The silence was charged with awkwardness in the elevator, but mostly because Tyler had finally temporarily rid his mind of Jenna, and filled it with the idea of dating a certain yellow haired man.
They reached the hotel room, and josh fumbled clumsily with the room key card until the light flashed green then gave Tyler a gentle shove inside.
Tyler wasn't crying at the moment, which made josh feel majorly relieved, although he was still greatly concerned. Tyler shuffled over to the neatly made bed, flopping onto the pure white sheets that crinkled as his body hit them.
Josh turned on the bathroom that lit the pristine creamy tiles of the bathroom in a warm yellow light. He turned on the shower, turning it toward warm, and hung some towels on the rack on the wall.
He padded out into the room, pulling the limp Tyler off the bed. The look of dejection in Tyler's eyes frightened josh considerably, so he tried to focus on the task at hand instead.
He carefully slipped Tyler's yellow sweatshirt over his head. As the fabric slipped over his head it revealed Tyler's beautiful body. Josh let in a quiet gasp, not loud enough for Tyler to hear he hoped. Tyler's chest was smooth and tanned, detailed with curling black ink. It wasn't like this was the first time josh had seen Tyler without a shirt. He saw him half naked almost every day. It felt strangely intimate to josh, even though it really wasn't.
He reluctantly turned his back as Tyler stripped down, and stepped into the hot shower.
Tyler gasped as he felt the hot water hitting his shoulders and back. He turned his face up toward the flying droplets, feeling then wash away the many layers of tears. He could only imagine how terrible he looked right now.

He stood for what seemed like hours in the steamy safely of the shower, trying to let the water wash away the panic of the last twenty four hours. Finally he carefully stepped out of the shower, feeling a fleeting feeling of happiness as he saw that josh had layed out fluffy white towels for him. He turned and noticed that he had also placed a pile of clean clothes on the bathroom counter for him.
Tyler felt squeaky clean, all pink and new.
He slipped into a soft green tee shirt and sweatpants. He unlocked the bathroom door, and stepped into the room just as josh entered through the door, holding a large Taco Bell bag, a cautious smile playing a beautiful melody on his face.
