When I arrived to the airport, I quickly made my way towards the bathroom and threw up. The whole flight the baby wouldn't stop moving, it made me feel sick because first I'm only 2 weeks and a day and secondly I already had a small bump of 2 months.

After throwing up, I looked myself in the mirror. The drastic change startled me a little. I looked depressed, so fragile... alone and pregnant with a demon child. I took a deep breath and washed my hands before exiting to get my bags. I called Jason letting him know I arrived and asked if he could pick me up. However as I was stepping out the airport. I saw a familiar face.

"Douglas!"

His figure leaned against the car and a smirk played with his face, but it quickly went away. He noticed something was off.

"I can actually smell it from where you're standing Y/n." He said in a stern voice.

I frowned and moved my hands to my stomach, I didn't know he'd be here and that he would figure it out so quickly.

"Where is he?"

I walked over to him and placed my bags in the back of his car.

"He left me."

Douglas stared at me for a bit before he clenched his fist and turn his head. After what seemed like a minute of me staring at him and him staring somewhere else, he opened the passenger door without looking at me.

"Get in."

I looked at him and sighed, "please don't be angry Doug... I didn't know."

He still didn't look at me.

I slowly got in the car and he slammed the door shut. Causing me to flinch a little, because we was also throwing my bags in the backseat of his car. He then made his way over to his side and also slammed the door once he was in. We drove in a complete awkward silence that was... well awkward for me.

"Dou-"

"I warned you!" He yelled cutting me off.

"I warned you and look what happened Y/n! You're pregnant with some blood sucking child!"

"I didn't know it was possible Douglas! You know he's dead! I didn't think his sperm still worked!"

"Jesus-" he whispered, looking out the window placing his hand on his forehead like he always does when he's stressed.

"It's gonna kill you Y/n..." he said as he looked at me then back at the road, then back at me, "I can see it already! Your eyes they are forming dark circles, you look a little more pale and I can smell the depression you are starting to form. This is not gonna end or mix well."

"I don't want to think about it right now all I wanna do is go home to Jason."

"And what are you going to tell him?!... huh?! That you pregnant with a vampire baby? That your husband is vampire?!"

"Ex-husband." I mumbled.

"Show me the divorce papers and then I'll call him your ex husband."

We reached my house and I quickly got out of the car, but before I could even go inside Douglas stopped me.

"Y/n!"

"What now Doug! You already lectured me enough!"

"You need to tell him... one way or another you need to tell him."

"Don't fucking worry about it, I already have a plan." I hissed and walked into my house. I was embraced by the warm air and the smell of my home.

"Jason?" I called out.

"Right here bug!" I heard him yell back.

I ran to the kitchen and into Jason's arms. It felt good to be back.

"I missed you so much Jase." I mumbled into his chest, but I felt him stiffen a bit

"Y/n?..."

"Yes?"

"Have you eaten? You feel so weak."

I pulled away from Jason and inhaled. Now that I realize it, I actually haven't eaten at all besides the chicken I made a few hours ago. I looked up at my brother and shook my head.

"Um no I haven't eaten."

"Want steak? I'm making steak tonight."

I gave him a nod, "Yeah sure."

I looked back at the door and watched Douglas come in with my bags, "Let's go up to my room?"

We made our way into my old room and suddenly I felt sick again and not the sick as in I wanted to throw up, but the sick of reality. I left my life for some vampire and now I don't know what to do.

"What's wrong?" Douglas asked after he set down my luggage's down in a corner.

My eyes began to tear up and I moved my hand down to my stomach, "I left everything Doug."

He moved closer to me and placed a hand on my back.

"I fell in love with a vampire and look where I am... alone, pregnant, and I might die because of this child." I turn to Douglas and felt so many tears stream down my face, "How am I going to survive this Doug?!"

Doug pulled me into a tight hug and I just sobbed into his chest until I finally calmed down but that was until it turned dark.

"I need to go to the Volturi." I said as I stared down to the ground. Douglas widen his eyes and shook his head.

"Are you kidding? Y/n they are going to kill you!"

I turned to him, "Not after the proposal I have for them, plus I have no where to go and they are my only chance of surviving this pregnancy because this baby. Is apart of their kind."

"You just came home." Douglas said softly. I cupped his face and slightly frowned.

"I know and I'm sorry but I need to go."

Doug gave me a nod after a second and then pulled me into another tight hug, "hopefully you come back alive."

That night Douglas and I planned to tell Jason that I was pregnant and that I needed to leave to Italy. I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but it needed to be done.

"Hey Jase?" I asked, putting down my fork and knife.

He looked up at me, "Yeah?"

"I'm pregnant."

Jason chocked on his food and Douglas quickly patted his back as I stood up from my seat.

"Pregnant?!" Jason yelled after finally catching his breath.

I nodded my head softly and moved my arms to my stomach so he wouldn't notice the small bump.

"Yeah... and I can't tell you why I'm choosing to leave to Italy but you have to trust me that it's to keep me alive."

"Alive?! Italy?! Leaving?! Y/n! What do you mean?! You just got here!"

Douglas stood up, "Jason calm down please, the stress isn't good for her. Let her explain."

Jason looked up at Doug and then turned his attention to me. I pulled down the sleeves of my sweater, clearing my throat.

"The Holland's aren't like you and me Jase, they are different and I can't tell you what they are because I want you to be safe, but you just have to trust me that this decision needs to be done in order for me to be alive and to survive this pregnancy."

Jason placed his hands on his face and then looked up at me, "when are you leaving?"
