"Alright guys I just got an idea and I think I might die from it." Tom told his iPad where he was giving an instagram live. He looked around to find a hiding spot for the tablet, knowing his girlfriend would be coming soon.
"I'm going to prank Y/n but this prank is basically me cheating, it's a bad idea but I really need to know how she'll react because she's a bit confusing with her emotions when we argue." He told his fans.
Finding the perfect spot to hide his iPad. He hid it and began to explain his bad prank idea.
"Ok so I asked Paddy to call me and he asked why but I won't tell him... and Y/n is coming soon from having lunch with her friends."
Hearing the door jiggle a bit, Tom's eyes widened and he instantly went into acting mode. Leaning back against the couch as if he's been doing that for hours. Y/n walking in as she placed her bag down, she made her way towards her boyfriend and hugged him from behind. Kissing his cheek and pulling his hair back.
"Hey baby," she mumbled sweetly, keeping her lips against Tom's cheek. In public they didn't really display much PDA, it was mostly hand holding, hugs, and few cuddles and kisses here and there but never full on making out and cuddle sessions for everyone to see. They kept most of that in the privacy of their home and Tom loved it. It was intimate to him.
Tom peeling his eyes off his phone, looked at his girlfriend and smiled lovingly. Pecking her lips as he welcomed her, "how was lunch?" He asked, pecking her lips again. Y/n smiled.
"It was good, I brought you a sandwich, chips, and soup." She told her boyfriend. She ran her fingers through his hair and pressed her lips against his forehead. It wasn't uncommon for them to be so affectionate towards each other.
"Sweet!" Tom gasped slightly, sitting up as he looked over his shoulder towards the big brown paper bag that had his lunch. "Thank you sweetheart. Let me go wash my hands."
Placing his phone down, Tom walked to the bathroom and Y/n sat down on the couch, pulling out her own phone to watch Netflix. Minutes later Tom still hadn't came out of the bathroom and all of the suddenly his phone rang. Y/n didn't mind it, she thought it was probably just a work call so she let it ring, enjoying the show she had recently gotten into. Few seconds go by and Tom's phone rang again, Y/n glanced at it quickly but then went back to her show. Another try and the girl instantly picked it up, annoyed that it kept ringing and annoyed at the fact her boyfriend hadn't come out of the bathroom.
Y/n's face fell when she saw the name on the ID caller, it wasn't work. It was someone. Someone named 'my one and only 💍'.
"Tom?" She called out, not daring to answer. She was afraid if she saw heard the other woman's voice she might lose it.
"Thomas!" She yelled out this time, still keeping her eyes on the phone. She slowly stood up, afraid she might throw up or faint if she rushed.
"What is it?" Tom asked. His voice was faint at first since he answered while he was entering the room.
Y/n turned around and showed him his phone that wouldn't stop ringing. Tom's eyes landed on the title and being the great actor he was, he froze.
"Seriously?" His girlfriend asked, tears welling up in her eyes but she refused to cry. She refused to cry over someone who didn't love her.
"Baby it only happened one time."
Tom's voice was low, he wasn't sure whether he should be gentle or loud but from the looks of it... he had to be gentle.
"I'm many things Thomas but stupid isn't one of them," Y/n hissed, throwing Tom's phone to the ground. Storming off to their room.
Tom winced when Y/n threw his phone harshly to the ground and quickly picked it up when she was out of sight. It was badly cracked, it wouldn't even turn on. That was the point to stop.
"Holy shit guys she's upset and you see how she doesn't go off? That's what makes her scary... oh my goodness, I have to go apologize."
Walking towards their room, Tom called out Y/n's name again and it was silent for the fans. They could only see the living room and partially the kitchen. Behind the screen everyone was freaking out. Some were scared for Tom's safety (jokingly) as they said people who were silently angry are usually the most scary, cause you never know what they'll do.
"Get off of me Thomas!" Y/n snarled, walking out of the room. She was about to leave.
Tom grabbed her hand and pulled her so she was looking at him, "baby don't go!"
"You think I'm gonna stay? Are you bloody insane?! I'm not staying in a room with a cheater! Especially one whose my boyfriend! The person I love with every inch and fiber in my body!"
As Y/n was about to leave Tom quickly grabbed his iPad and showed it to her, telling her it was a prank. "Darling its a prank I would never! I would never disrespect or humiliate you like that! I'm sorry! I just wanted to see how you would react because you are always so neutral with your emotions!"
Y/n's jaw fell and she froze when she saw the camera. Tom showed her the fans reactions and read them.
"Y/n was about to walk out like my dad!" Tom read one out loud, doing a double take. "Ok..."
"You could've done something else to see my reaction!" Y/n yelled again.
Tom looked at her, "I know but I needed to do something worse!"
