"I can't believe the directors actually made me go to an actual high school, again!" I told Harry. Recently I've gotten another part in a movie where I play a teenager. One day we were all joking, so I made a comment about how they should send me to a high school just how Jon did for Homecoming and they actually did.

Harry furrowed his eyebrows at me as he tugged on his jacket and said, "nobody ever takes you seriously. What did you expect?"

"Fuck off," I scoffed and Harry chuckled.

When I playfully suggested they put me in an actual high school. I was told I was starting in two days... I have now been going to this high school for 2 weeks and I am now attending prom. I tried pulling out of going to a school by saying everyone would notice me—I mean hello! I'm Spiderman and have been in two big Marvel movies of all time—but they said they'd cover me up and make me look different and they definitely did. However, since I am at prom, I didn't need to cover up because this was a masquerade ball. Masks are a must.

So now here I am, in front of the fancy place prom was being held at, with my brother next to me.

"Well let's go Tom," Harry said.

I let out a sigh and went up the stairs into the building, the music got louder and the room was a dimmed place with flashing party lights going everywhere. Everyone was dancing or talking to friends while others were sitting or standing, not really different from school dances back home.

"Let's go get something to drink," I leaned over at Harry. He gave me a nod and we made our way towards the snack bar. I glanced at everyone again before shaking my head.

"I still can't believe I was made to go to a high school again."

Harry nudged me, "oh will you shut up already? This isn't so bad."

I raised my eyebrows at him, "um it's a bit awkward talking to teenage girls."

"Oh please- oh wow... look at her." Harry pointed behind me. I turned my head towards the entrance and my eyes slightly widened when I saw a girl come in with a red dress on. It was fancy but fiery. Next to her was another girl, her dress was white and sweet but her friend in the red dress caught everyone's attention. Mostly cause this was a Black and White masquerade ball.

Shifting a little I turned back towards Harry and scrunched up my nose a bit, "kinda weird to look at her for too long isn't it? Don't know what age she could be."

"Apparently proms in America are only for juniors and seniors. Freshman and sophomores aren't aloud unless they were invited by an upperclassman."

"The fuck is that suppose to mean?" I asked.

Harry rolled his eyes, "she could be around the age of 16-18."

"Oh like that makes it any better!"

"Shut up she's coming this way." Harry said. I stood up straight and turned around towards the table, from the corner of my eye I saw her appear next to me as she grabbed a drink for her friend and herself. I looked over at Harry and nudged me before pointing at her. I furiously shook my head at him and he gave me a slap on the arm, continually nudging me to talk to her. So I did.

"Um hi!"

I'm gonna kill Harry.

The girl looked up at me and scanned me before replying, "oh um- hi!"

"You really do know how to make an entrance, that dress looks really beautiful on you." I complimented. I didn't want to awkwardly say hi and then turn around, not speak to her. That'd be rude.

She looked down at her dress quickly and then back at me, "thank you, that's um- that's a nice jacket."

I looked down at my coat and then at her, "it's a coat..."

She blinked at me rapidly and I saw she was starting to struggle with her words so she looked back at her friend and whispered something before turning towards me again, "do you want something to drink?" She offered.

I raised my cup to let her know I already had a drink and she was flushed.

"Well shit ok um- sorry if I'm being really awkward! I don't usually come to these things!" She said to me but suddenly the music got really loud so it was hard for me to hear.

I furrowed my eyebrows and shook my head, "I'm sorry what?!" I asked her.

"What?!"

I shook my head again and she looked back for her friend but her friend was already making small talk with Harry. She took a deep breath and looked at me.

"Do you want to dance?!"

"What?!"

"D-Do you want to dance?!" She said loudly.

I looked at around for a quick second and gave her a nod, "yeah sure."

She gave me a small smile and then walked towards the DJ with her phone on her hand. She handed it to him and said something before making her way towards me and we both walked towards the dance floor. Tango music started playing and I was a bit surprised because it was a really good song. Good taste too. I don't know how old this girl is and I'm going to be dancing tango with her.

"Nice choice." I told her. She gave me a small smile and then did a small spin before doing a semi circle with her leg

Caught me off guard, not going to lie, "What was that?" I chuckled, pulling her slightly close. The girl shrugged and said, "guess the music just speaks to me."

Letting out a chuckle, I tightly pulled her in and then stepped back before stepping forward again. "Guess there isn't a language barrier." I told her. She smiled and kicked her foot behind me and then did a spin.

"Guess there isn't."

Giving her a smile, we both started to dance and this girl is a very good dancer. She knew the pace. Slow slow, quick quick, slow. Her spins were crisp and clean and her movement was smooth. She wasn't kidding. Music does speak to her. I pulled her in for a small spin and then let her go so she can continue on her own but suddenly small marbles were on the ground and she fell. Completely forget where I was and why, I ripped my mask off and went up to her to help her up. She looked up at me and her eyes widened.

"Tom?"

She took off her mask and my eyes suddenly widened as well.

"Y/n?"

"Oh my god! It's Tom Holland and Y/n Y/l/n!"

People started screaming and we both rushed out towards my car, thankfully Harry and Y/n's best friend Jenna was behind me.

"What were you doing at a high school prom?" Y/n asked me once we were all in the car.

I let out a huff, "could ask you the same thing." I said.

"W-well it's for work. I'm playing a teenage girl who goes to an American high school."

"Well same here, joked around about sending to high school again and it actually happened."

Y/n shrugged, "well no one ever takes you seriously Tom."

"I told you!" Harry said. I slapped his arms and looked back at Y/n.

"Never seen you dance like that before," I told her. "Or at all."

She shrugged again, "Well my character is a dancer whose dream is to become a professional dancer one day. Been taking lessons and such."

"Well its really good," I smiled. "Absolutely amazing, looks like you've been dancing before you could even walk."

Y/n chuckled, "well I actually enjoyed learning how to dance so, I do it on my own time as well. Could maybe do wonders for me."

"Maybe so."
